As a Business Analyst, my work is divided into multiple roles (40% working as a Scrum Project Manager, 40% working as Level 2 Support Analyst, 20% as Release/ Deployment Manager). My Duties include, but not limited to:
Review, analyze, and evaluate the content systems and user needs
Participate in System Design and Architecture to parallel overall business strategies
Assists in identifying and implementing tasks and technical requirements for assigned system enhancements
Work with cross team resources involved in an assigned project
Creates specifications for each release and enhancement
Works with development staff to develop enhancement in a timely fashion
Tests enhancements pre and post development to make sure system meets the end user needs, specifications and is error free.
Assures quality control including regularly updating and maintaining procedures
Gather feedback from aligned content groups for future enhancements and ways to increase timeliness, accuracy, relevance, and comprehensiveness
Acts as a liaison between content groups and developers to correct bugs in the systems and follows up with end usersProvide technical and funcational support
Provides training and top tier support for clients. Provides product specific trainings to SPGMI employees
As a Process Specialist, I am responsible to:
Make sure about the department Processes are in compliance with the Lean Methodology
Certified Lean Facilitator in SNL
Understand all critical processes and tools for Translations Department. Reviews process documentation & actual work done; shadows and/or performs certain duties in department workflow in order to identify problems or opportunities to improve content collection in areas of timeliness, accuracy, relevance, comprehensiveness, and efficiency. Identifies & addresses procedure/documentation & training deficits
Begins analysis to uncover the root causes of complex problems. Ensures that proposed solutions address the root cause and add value to stakeholders
Supports the vetting, department-level prioritization & implementation of respective content groups’ process & systems initiatives. Where appropriate, identifies alternate approaches and combines/elevates multiple issues to gain efficiency
Supports the requirements engineering process for all group-related initiatives; obtains and maintains buy-in for proposed solutions; proactively manages risks in stakeholder satisfaction. Works with Content & Project Managers to ensure development & implementation of solutions in a timely fashion
Collaborates with Content Managers & Process Specialists/Experts from other content groups to identify & execute on shared/cross-department initiatives
Increases knowledge of SNL systems and data collection best practices; Participates in training initiatives & increases knowledge of various formal & informal Business Process Management disciplines; supports the dissemination of subject matter expertise throughout all levels of respective content group(s)
Implement new processes and initiatives w.r.t department workflow and processes
Champions the dissemination of process-related knowledge & thought process to members (at all levels) of respective content group

As a Senior Project Analyst, I am responsible to:
Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of data published in SNL products.
Lead the day-to-day operations and workflow of the department.
Communicate status reports to stakeholders.
Implement new processes and initiatives w.r.t department workflow and processes.

Monitor the Translation Tasks Dashboard
Analyze non-English documents to identify the translation requirements for the various AFIG and EFIG content teams
Assist the Translation Project Manager in the creation and prioritization of tasks to drive the auto- & manual translation process
Build subject matter expertise on SNL’s translation software applications
Proofread final translations and provide quality assurance to ensure consistency and proper formatting
Coordinate many projects at various stages simultaneously
Research and address technical issues related to document translation
I am also responsible for:
Updating the stakeholders with the status reports
Creating and executing Plans and SRS for Websites and Softwares
Attending daily stand up Sessions with the clients
Working on JQuery
Tweaking the Images in Photoshop
Creating CronJobs in Linux Servers and scheduled jobs in Windows Servers
Updating and Maintaining the hosting servers (Linux and Windows)
Training the new employees
Setting up the necessary system environment for the team
Hands on experience in incorporating Paypal and Google Checkout
Creating and searching new plugins and modules for frameworks in PHP/MYSQL
Tracking and informing the managers about the team performance in a timely manner
Here I am responsible for:
Applying timely patches and updates on the server
Maintain daily backups for the DB server
Configured the ISA server 2000
Configured database servers with Ms SQL 2008, ISA Server 2000 and setup a DNS server
Maintain and record the results, also headed the online admission portal for new students
Troubleshooting all of the Network in college
Troubleshooting and equipping the labs with proper software
Apply security fixes and patches across all the college computers and routers/ switches
Switched the network to the fibre optics cable
Handled the online seminars and lectures from the HEC
