• Testing and commissioning DCS control systems and integrating various field instruments to the
systems using various protocols like Foundation field bus, Profibus, modbus etc.
• Supporting and guiding troubleshooting activities in the field.
• Conducting FAT, SAT and other tests with clients. And supporting customer for integration of
third-party control systems and instruments.
• Reporting to the team lead/manager on the project progress status and technical solutions.
• Commissioning and testing PLC programs and optimizing the functionality as per client
specifications.
• Coordinating design team and updating the PLC programs as per changes at site.
• Maintaining test documents and reports.
• Reporting the project progress to the manager.
• Conducting client tests with clients and getting comments closed for smooth handover
• Leading team of Technicians to execute projects in optimal way.
• Reporting periodically to Project Manager.
• Holding technical discussions with clients regarding sequence of operation, control philosophy,
IO list to tailor the control systems accurately to the requirement.
• Designing Control panels as per client requirements and submitting technical proposals.
• Preparing Bill of materials, tentative General arrangement Drawings, SLD’s and system
architecture of the proposed control system.
• Procurement of components to be used in the control panel following up suppliers.
• Perform FAT and SAT procedure with clients.
• Programming, testing and commissioning of PLC, HMI SCADA of different brands based on the
project requirement.
• Document project applications and manuals of operation.
Maintaining the computers, software’s and hardware’s in the office in good shape.
• Solving issues in the network.
• Maintaining, monitoring and keeping track of inventory.
• Installing new IT peripherals and configuring them.
• Server room in charge. And resolving IT issues in 5 satellite branches both remotely and by site
visit.
• Monitoring and maintaining CCTV and Biometric Access control.
• Assembling, Installation, Configuration of Networks (Routers, Modems, Wi-Fi routers),
Maintenance, Customer support (Remote support), Documentation etc.
Installing, testing and configuring PLC‘s, HMI, SCADA at different sites.
• Travelling to different location to install and program new control systems or to trouble
shoot or reprogram existing control systems.
• Reporting to technical manager and updating the status of work.
• Guiding technicians technically to execute the project in the optimal way.
