Queensland Shared Services (QSS) provides finance, procurement, human resources management, facilities management and mail support services for 20 Queensland Government agencies and 6 statutory authorities in Brisbane, Australia. My responsibilities in this job: - Daily banking tasks: upload the bank statement to SAP, balancing, record any transaction if needed, and daily clearing. - Cash flows: daily morning and afternoon forecast to be reported on time to the Treasury. - Registers: Prepayments, Write off and loss, Consultancy and Exhibits registers. - End of month tasks. - Reconciliations of most financial statement accounts. - Tridata reports: Participate in preparing all of government financial statement. Achievements: - Helped to analyze unclaimed money amounts and submitted some suggestions to resolve them. - Suggested an idea to change the way of archive the daily printing paper used to upload the bank statements to be in PDF files, which could reduce the amount of paper 100%. Reason to leave is to go back to my home country for good.

I was responsible of the below tasks:
- Responsible of 4 external and 5 local vendors, to check their invoices and pay them on time under policies and agreements.
- Check and pay all general purchases invoices.
- Doing all monthly reconciliations of all vendors' accounts.
- Responsible of 3 banks accounts to check and balance them daily.
- Prepare a daily cash flow report and present it on time to the management.
- Revise some clients' accounts and flow up their payments.
- Manage and control budgets for some projects and offers.
- Check expenses statements claims for employees and pay them under the firm policies.
- Do most of monthly and annually closing accounts and reconciliations.
Achievements:
- Improved the process of employees' expenses claims to be easier and faster.
- Resolved about 95% of the issues with the receiving goods account.
Reason to leave is to travel to Australia to do my master's degree.
