MECHANICAL MAINTENANCE ENGINEER

Project: Ministry of Planning, Kuwait.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1.To monitor and ensure the implementation of as planned daily, weekly, monthly, annual maintenance of Water Supply Pumps, Chilled water and condenser water pumps, Water Filters, Cooling Towers, Chillers, Fire Fighting system, fire Pumps, Jockey pumps, Plumbing Water supply and drainage pipes, all plumbing fixtures, Fan coil units, Air Handling Units, DX systems, Boilers, Supply fans, Heat Exchangers, Water coolers etc.

2.Facilitate smooth change of shifts during the 24 hours between teams and groups.

3.Ensure preventive maintenance to minimize breakdown.

4.Regular checking of BMS system, rectifying all errors

displayed with immediate action and recording frequency of errors for a particular system to highlight underlying issues.

5.Quick and effective addressing of complaints from building staff.

6.Recording key information of performances of Chillers, HVAC, FCUS and all heating and cooling system by BMS system and cross check with manual inspection.

7.Preparation of schedules, tables, shifts etc.

8.Keeping record of all preventive and breakdown maintenance done including complaint addressing.

9.Cooperation with all contractors and sub-contracting teams working in building maintenance to ensure good overall output.

10.Ensuring regular cleaning of all AHUS to ensure clean, Safe, odorless air.

MECHANICAL SITE ENGINEER

Project: NEW FOUR POINTS SHERATON (Oriental Group of Hotels).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.Assisting Senior Site Engineer in the procurement and installation of MEP related works like Ducting and insulation, FCUS, AHUS, ERUs, supply and exhaust fans, Smoke Exhaust Fans, Stair case pressurization fans, Water Supply and drainage piping, plumbing fixtures, boilers, FF system (sprinklers, fire cabinets, foam system), Pumps, GRP tanks, Heat Exchangers.

2.Coordination with consultant ensuring scheduled progress of Mechanical works. To ensure all works as done as per drawing and with approval of consultant if any Deviation from IFC drawings.

3.Supervision of HVAC, Fire protection and Plumbing foremen. Ensuring correct specifications of ordered and installed materials and units.

4.Quantity surveying for materials/equipment to be ordered.
5.Technical trouble shooting and problem solving.

6.Maintaining shifts and site inspection.

7.Coordination with Main and other Sub contractors with respect to installation works.

8.Ensuring adherence to specified standards and design.

9.Review and execution of IFC drawings, Shop drawings and as built drawings.

10.Coordinating mechanical works with BAS team.
