Charged with programme management of Housing Projects contract for the Ministiry of Housing (M.o.H). The Contract is to carry out engineering studies, design and construction supervision for some of the M.o.H’s projects in Assir and Baha districts a total of 33 sites with an approximate total area of thirty million square meters (30 million SQM) and a value of 1 Billion SR.
Charged with project management of Local Roads and Infrastructure Programme for the Public Works Authority (PWA). Responsibilities include monitoring the overall delivery of the assigned GEC major projects, identifying design issues impacting successful delivery, and assisting in successful issue resolution. Also monitoring against established baselines for scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk and safety. Coordinate stakeholder engagement and integration to achieve programme objectives for scope, budget, schedule, quality, sustainability, legacy, etc. Identifying issues that could potentially impact the successful project delivery and bringing them to the attention of the Area Delivery Manager (ADM), the appropriate PWA Area Engineer, the appropriate PMC functional managers. Supporting the ADM in the analysis, review, and situational awareness off all project delivery including cost analysis and estimating, value engineering, design review, reports preparation, Gateway preparation, Risk Analysis and knowledge and stakeholder management. Monitor Construction sites and Contractors, observe situations affecting programme performance and prepare reports of observations and findings. Evaluated design documents to assess sufficiency for construction purposes. Assisted PWA in handling citizens’ complaints and requests for services.
Charged with project management of the New Doha International Airport (NDIA) Project -CP67 Street Lighting Installation & Landscaping Upgrade a 360 Million QR project.
Charged with guiding completion of capital improvement projects from design and bid processing to construction management and engineering inspection. Ensured effectiveness of engineering consultants and contractors by developing targeted policies / procedures and monitoring work and performance. Analyzed bids and made recommendations for award of contracts. Orchestrated operations for infrastructure and civil projects including roadway widening; drainage, water, and sewer systems; landscaping and irrigation; traffic mast arms; retaining walls; ponds and lakes; sea walls and bulk heads; and concrete sidewalks and gutters. Supervised project managers, project / professional engineers, and consultants.
As Head - Division Inspection Section, conducted inspections to determine that all permitted projects in County “right-of-way” were constructed according to county and state government codes, rules and regulations.
