Managing the comprehensive facilities management program of 480+ buildings, ensuring their safe operation, ongoing maintenance, code compliance, and system upgrades, including HVAC, plumbing, civil, wet firefighting system (FFS), cleaning and related systems.
Major Duties & responsibilities:
HVAC:
 Manage a large-scale HVAC operation ensuring a comfort and air quality.
 Prioritize critical buildings like data centers and radio stations, safeguarding vital
navigation systems with robust HVAC systems.
Spearhead an initiative to optimize energy efficiency across a complex network of HVAC systems, driving significant operational cost reductions.
 Conduct a comprehensive audit of the entire HVAC system portfolio, strategically prioritizing Opex/Capex projects (PRs) based on JEDCO Main. Capital Programs.
Plumbing:
 Manage the critical functionality and cleanliness of plumbing systems.
 Implement and manage preventive maintenance programs for water and wastewater
systems to prevent disruptions and costly leaks across a large-scale infrastructure.
 Lead a rapid response team to address plumbing emergencies efficiently, minimizing
inconvenience for a vast number of airport staff.
 Champion an initiative to reduce water consumption within the airport buildings,
promoting environmental sustainability and generating significant cost savings.
Civil:
 Manage the maintenance and repair of structural components encompassing a vast building envelope - walls, floors, ceilings, and roofs - across airport buildings.
Wet Fire Fighting System:
 Manage the complete functionality and immediate readiness of a large-scale fire sprinkler system across the entire airport buildings.
 Schedule and conduct rigorous inspections and tests of the critical fire protection systems, ensuring compliance with stringent safety standards.
 Collaborate closely with fire safety personnel to develop and implement comprehensive emergency response plans for a high-occupancy environment.
Cleaning and Related Systems:
 Implement and manage effective cleaning protocols, ensuring impeccable hygiene standards and a positive experience.
Broad Scope and Strategic Focus:
 Monitor contractor performance and ensure contractors have the sufficient number of manpower, spare parts, equipment, implement PM and CM and expertise to deliver services at the highest standard and meet key performance indicators (KPIs).
 Conduct regular inspections and assessments of all buildings, proactively identifying and addressing maintenance needs across a massive infrastructure.
 Manage complex building expansion projects, collaborating with architects and engineers to ensure new constructions seamlessly integrate with existing airport operations, adhere to stringent safety regulations, and maintain close coordination with project and technical teams.
 Lead efforts to ensure all airport buildings comply with a comprehensive set of local, national, and international regulations and safety standards, staff, and the facility itself.
 Oversee an expansive scope of responsibilities, demonstrating a high degree of flexibility and adaptability to address diverse challenges within a large-scale airport environment.
