Control the annual Operating Expense and Capital Budget, as approved by the Executive Board of Directors and submits to higher management, on a monthly basis, a meaningful, accurate, Management Information Report;
Participates in the preparation of the budget for the coming Fiscal Year and the accompanying five year rolling plan, so far as is practical, ensures adherence to it;
Participates in Finance Directorate support to the Departments, Branch Campuses and Centers within the Foundation;
Assists in developing the sustainability of the Foundation; actively participates in due diligence for proposed new projects; contributes and supports the strategic planning and decisions of the Foundation;
Ensures proper records are maintained and verified relative to the Assets of the Foundation and submits to higher management recommendations for disposal and/or write off, as appropriate;
Monitors the performance of the Department through meaningful Key Performance Indicators and regular meetings with staff reporting to him;
Cooperates with internal and external auditors to comply with all Financial Standards requirements; responds promptly and efficiently to audit observations and reports the outcome of such Audits to the Chief Financial Officer;
