 Reviewing/checking and approving the Weekly/Monthly Progress Reports submitted by the contractor for the Project.
 Evaluate, review and approve project time schedule baseline/update and monitoring the project schedule deviation and the required recovery.

Project:
 Jabal Omar Development Project (JODP), Makkah, Saudi Arabia
JODP is a unique urban regeneration scheme aimed at providing first class accommodation and supporting religious, social and commercial facilities and services for the visitors and residents of the holy city of Makkah. The project consists of 38 Hotel towers will operate by well-known 5 stars Operators such as Hilton, Sheraton, Hyatt and Marriott. Each tower consists of 33 floors, 12 podiums, where 4 of them are commercial floors, 3 parking floors, and 2 floors of villas in addition to Ground and Mezzanine where the main entrances of the towers will be. The estimated budget of the project is S.R 30 billion, that will be spent over Five years ending 2018.

Responsibilities:
 Certify Interim payment certificates for project consultants, hotel operators and contractors.
 Prepare cost centers for all project elements (phases, Hotels/podiums, Commercial areas, parking areas, construction works and electromechanical works). These cost centers are useful in identifying capital costs for each project element to verify at the end of project, earnings against costs for each individual area of the project.
 Prepare monthly cost report.
 Attend weekly and monthly cost/Risk meetings to monitor budget and give early warning in the risk register.
 Certify new variations made by stakeholders for any new scopes out of signed contracts and issue new variation order.
 Lead and manage all cost aspects of the project on behalf of the Project Manager.

Project:
 King Abdullah University for Science & Technology, KSA
Construction of 1443 Residential villas divided into six zones, International School and Facilities Buildings for King Abdulla University of Science and Technology. The project includes Infrastructure and Landscape works. Turner’s services include Project Management and Construction Management. Saudi Binladen Group is the Main Contractor and the Project Managed by Saudi Aramco Oil Company.
Responsibilities:

 Ensures that the planning and scheduling documents such as, master schedules, progress reports, 'S' curves and bar charts... are prepared properly and in accordance with contractual time schedule and frequencies by client and contractors.
 Prepare detailed subsidiary schedule at level 4 & 5 for Area Managers including all requirements for schedule (Time, resources, procurement, materials & engineering.)

The project consists of: President Housing, AUC Park & Square, Humanities & Social Sciences School, Sciences& Engineering School, Business, Economics & Communications School, Core Academic Centre, Library, Campus Centre, Student Housing, Indoor Sports Facilities, Desert Development Centre, Physical Plant, Faculty Housing, Central Spine, Utility Plant, Administration Building, site & Infrastructure
Responsibilities:
 Prepare monthly cost report.
 Performing complete estimations for all quantities of architectural, civil and mechanical works and related prices for all buildings of university and outer campus.
 Reviewing and checking all change orders submitted by contractors, and performing variation order to the client.

PROJECT: (LNG) Liquefied Natural Gas project in Damietta Port - Egypt. (US$ 1.2 Billion)

POSITION: Senior Quantity Surveyor Engineer.

ACTIVITIES:
Assigned as part of Subcontract team. Responsible for:

A- Preliminary studies for construction project cost at the development stage and preparation of bills of Quantities and all elements of budget cost estimates.

B- Assisting in the administration of subcontracts, monitoring existing subcontracts for compliance with terms and conditions.

C- performing complete take- off, all measurements for Civil and Mechanical works.
Civil works:
(Buildings, shelters, Site preparation, paved roads, ducts, fences, gates, underground and concrete works
for equipments, foundations, structures, stack, basins and racks).
Mechanical works:
Steel structures measurements for pipe racks, shelters, platforms (Circular, rectangular and Free standing), Gratings and claddings.
Piping measurements A/G&U/G for different types and diameters (CS, Impact CS, SS, GRP, GRV and HPPE).

D- Checking and reviewing monthly valuation and progress for subcontractors.

E- Evaluating progress and cost estimating of lump sum sections of civils, Buildings and Mechanical portions of the Project and carrying out official correspondence.

F- Reviewing subcontracts specifications, conditions and subcontract documents.

PROJECT: Erecting the SUEZ GULF POWER PLANT PROJECT. B. O. O. T PROJECT, for servicing Oil /Gas industrial and Free zone Region.
POSITION: Senior Quantity Surveyor Engineer.

ACTIVITIES:


A - Preparation of claims, letters and review tender reports and analysis.

B - Price analysis for new items and preparation of schedules of rates.

C - Preparation of cost implications of changes to the scope of work during project period.

D - performing complete measurements for civil works and related steel structures for different buildings of the plant (Turbine generator, Boilers, Main electrical & control building, Pump house, Circulating water system, G.R.P pipes, Fuel tanks, Fence, Marine works, Open channels.

PROJECT: Secondary cities ED/CM project- sanitary drainage project- USAID Project

POSITION: Field Engineer at Kom-ombo city gravity sewer.

ACTIVITIES:

A-Reviewing all kinds of submittals (Materials, plan of work, Shop drawings, tables, As- built drawings, Force account sheets ).

B- Reviewing RFIs (Request for information), to ask about any item of work.

C- Checking the consuming rates, way of fixing and installation of materials to accommodate with specs

D- Monitoring installation of gravity sewer lines including pipes of all sizes (200mm, 250mm, 315mm PVC pipes- 375mm, 450mm, 600mm vc pipes and 800mm, 1000mm, 1200mm RC pipes), different types of MHs type 1, 2 pre-cast units and type 3, 4 cast in place units and house connection chambers.
E- Daily reports, solving field problems with the engineers (consultant office).

F- Estimate measurements for the project elements ( Pump house, Bonds, pipes….).

POSITION: Field Engineer at Kom-ombo water treatment plant.

ACTIVITIES:

A- Reviewing all kind of submittals (Materials, plans of work, shop drawings, tables) for different buildings (Alum bulk storage, Rock alum facility, Clear water reservoir, Flocculation Sedimentation basin, Chlorine building).

B- Procurement of all permanent materials, on a 3 month look ahead bases.

POSITION: Private contractor.

PROJECT: Accomplishments had been implanted for my own account:

A - Installation of network of Asbestos pipes diameter (4”, 6”) with 4 km lengths in Elnekhyla
village - Assuit city.

B - Construction of bridge over El-sahil drainage.

C - Construction of a Barrage over Dronka canal.

D - Construction of basic education school in Elmaabda village - Assuit city.

E - Construction of exterior clinic in Bagoor - Assuit city.

F - Construction of dentist clinic in Bagoor - Assuit city.

G - Installation of network of Asbestos pipes diameter (4", 6") with 2 Km lengths in
Bagoor village- Assuit City.
H - Construction of fences of Azhar institutes.

I was responsible for monthly progress, claims and valuations, in addition to field tasks.

PROJECT: Schools construction.

A- Performing monthly progress reports and statements.

B- Monitoring excavation works, foundations, formwork, reinforcement, pouring concrete, columns,
slabs, stairs, finishing works … to accommodate with specs.
