• Conducted a 70-page research project on barriers to professionalisation in amateur sports in the UAE. This was a 9-month ethnography using participant observation research.
•This included over 40 pages of field notes and a 35-page final paper which is awaiting approval to be published in an academic journal
• Qualified in London and Manchester in a 9-week intensive course, attained a distinction in all examinations and was the youngest on the course.

• I have competed in Jiu-Jitsu competitions in Australia, New York and London, winning podium position at the Abu Dhabi Grand Slam which invites talent from all around the world.

Undergraduate degree pursued in Abu Dhabi, UAE at New York University Abu Dhabi under a full-ride scholarship. Major in Social Research and Public Policy and a minor in Arabic language. My undergraduate degree also included a semester (4 months) at NYU Sydney and NYU New York. Also, a pursued a 3-week intensive course at NYU Shanghai. I also had regional trips throughout the MENA region and Asia for intensive study in Kathmandu/Nepal, Manama/Bahrain and Amman/Jordan.
