Manage talent acquisition activities including: Full recruitment life cycle, manpower planning and restructuring of departments.
Participate in various committees to provide HR related support on workplace related issues and initiatives.
Develop work Service Level Agreements when needed.
Develop induction/orientation materials and process.
Contribute in Developing HR policies and procedures.
Assist in developing university salary scale according to university rules and regulations.
Provide advisory service to line management and staff on HR management issues to ensure effective communication with all staff to maintain transparent working relationships.
Prepare job analysis and job description which includes process of determining relative worth of the job and accordingly classifies various jobs into grades according to Towers Watson’s system.
Participate in various HR projects as approved by senior management. Current running project “Establishing a new University performance Management system”.
Assist in monitoring and ensuring University legislative compliance in relation to workplace practices.
Negotiate employment contracts to ensure clear understanding of all related terms and conditions.
Contribute to University’s culture through the development, review and promotion of core values.
Provide HR administrative support across the University when needed.
Undertake the full range of manpower planning, staff recruitment and selection processes within agreed timeframes, including advice and support to line management, drafting and placing advertisements, drafting interview questions, coordinating candidate information and interviews, preparation of selection reports, conducting reference checks, constructing offers of employment.
Develop, coordinate, monitor and evaluate staff induction processes and make recommendations as appropriate.
In consultation with HR Management, provide advisory and guidance to staff on enquiries about HR policies and procedures.
Undertake HR projects as required by the Management, including research and preparation of documents review and implementation of recommendations.
Negotiate contract terms and conditions with applicants.
Record staff data into the HR information system as well as in the workflow system in addition to administer the attendance system.
Coordinate regular meetings with allocated Line Managers and provide HR related HR support.
Contribute to the development and review of HR policies, guidelines, procedures and processes which provide an effective, consistent and timely delivery of HR services.
Advise internal and external applicants regarding employment procedures.
Provide various types of reports to management as per request.
Assist in the development of position descriptions for specified Divisions and ensure appropriate review and update.
Undertake HR administrative support and assist in monitoring of HR compliance issues and report them to Supervisor.
Responsible for updating the university organization chart.
Deliver International Computer Driving License training sessions to staff.
Coordinate & supervise events: Exhibitions, seminars, press conferences, sponsorships and other PR events, i.e.: I was "The Stand Manger of New Horizons" at GITEX (2005 & 2006) + Career fair (2005 & 2006).
Maintain the client database to use it for marketing campaigns "Email, SMS, Fax and mail shots" for both retail and corporate markets.
Deal with governmental bodies to obtain agreements and necessary approvals.
