• A Diploma graduate in Mechanical Engineering and 13 Years’ Hands-on Experience in Industrial Plant Maintenance in a busy Production and Manufacturing sector
• Experienced in Preventive, breakdown maintenance, overhauling, alignment and commissioning of rotary machines and Static equipment
• Well versed with troubleshooting of system malfunctions and timely restoration of rotary mechanical systems such as Pumps, centrifugal and screw compressors, industrial gas fans and air blowers, gearboxes, conveyors, rotary kiln and multi-coil dryers.

• I successfully rebuild and restored a 24 stage vertical turbine pump which had been scrapped hence setting a standard at Qatar aluminium central workshop.
Job Role
• Charged with Daily monitoring and supervision of periodic Maintenance and timely restoration of Plant machinery and equipment to enhance smooth operations.
• Responsible for maintenance planning, coordination of manpower, execution of work and record keeping
• Analyze breakdowns and formulate proper actions to prevent recurrence
• Study OEM manuals and advise the management on procurement of spare parts including Technical approval
• Attend monthly production and maintenance meetings and offer contributions for continuous improvement.
• Enhance safety in all aspects of work within the organization.
• Repaired and serviced variety of Pumps, Rotary screw compressors, blowers, Gas fans
• An associate in maintenance of Gas Turbines, Steam turbines and Auxiliary systems.
• Charged with precision alignment of Rotary machines
• Disassembled, inspected and overhauled Gearboxes.
• An associate in maintenance of Centrifugal air compressors in the Port & Utility section
• Maintained and serviced centrifugal, positive displacement systems and geared Electro mechanical drives.
• Inspected and maintained winding compensators, lifting drives and conveyors
• Serviced Rotary screw air compressors-Atlas Copco, and RKR models
• Installed and commissioned electro mechanical machines
• Performed Alignment of rotary machines by dial gauge and laser techniques
• Serviced pneumatic and hydraulic cylinders including solenoid valves
• Analyzed system malfunctions and corrected accordingly
• Successfully revised manuals and drafted simpler mechanical maintenance procedures
• Serviced and repaired line machinery; Injection molding machines, hydraulic press, plastic extruders, kneaders, compounding mills and conveyors, compressors, pumps, conveyors, gearboxes and steam boilers
• Issued comprehensive periodic maintenance reports to the Engineering Supervisor.
• Handling and rectifying all mechanical breakdowns by replacing mechanical seals, bearings, shafts, impellers, pistons, seals and couplings, packings..
• Ensured work complied to best Engineering practices
• Rebuilding of worn shafts by Arc welding process
• Performing lathe machine works; Parallel & taper turning
