Key Duties
• To lead and support the Project team from development of conceptual design, installation, commissioning, operations and maintenance.
• Overall management of project mechanical activities ensuring timely & safely completion within quality standards.
• Develop international and local contractors to support project activities.
• Develop local vendors to support fabrication of parts locally.
• Review, comment and maintain engineering documents of the project.
• Manage stakeholders including Consultants, Contractors, End users and Internal/External Team.
• Maintain effective communication with all internal/external stakeholders.
• Align the OEM parties for the installation/commissioning/operation/maintenance of major mechanical equipment with cost effectiveness and quality.
• Developing, leading and training multi-skilled workforce for O&M.
• Encouraging culture for teamwork and team performance.
• Supporting other mill projects in Initiating, planning, executing & commissioning phases.
• Energy efficiency and conservation initiatives for existing Corrugator and Flexible mill.
• TPM and 5S implementation at Corrugator and Flexible mill.

Key Duties
• Build and manage the project with a clear objective to complete it within the PM principles.
• Coordination among different stakeholders (in various roles, geographical placement & nationalities) including Consultants, Contractors, End users and Internal Team.
• Participation in Tendering as well as Pre-qualification of consultants and contractors.
• Ensuring thorough quality management for all activities on the project.
• Sourcing and evaluating contractors (technically / commercially) for competitive market.
analysis and enabling maximum parallel activities for fast-track.
• Developing of international/local vendors related to power plant and utilities.
• Reviews and provides comments / approval on design deliverables / packages of all equipment such as pumps, compressors, valves etc. prepared by Contractor, in line with the scope of work requirements, Company’s specifications and international codes / standards.
• Maintains and applies up to date knowledge of various rotating equipment as required for machinery selection during project work without imposing undue limiting restrictions on future project phases.
• Leading a multidisciplinary team during erection, commissioning and operation.
• Implementation of safe and optimum O&M practices at the Power Plant.

Key Duties
• Feasibility study, Conceptual Design and Tender documents.
• Initial Environmental Examination (IEE) Report for local project and operation approvals.
• Social Environmental Impact Assessment (SEIA) Report for loans.
• Project Design Document (PDD) required for CDM validation.
• Implementation of steam net control system for better process stability.
• Preliminary study of Biomass to energy Project for Packages Lahore Paper mill.
• Development of vendors for Biomass supply chain and power plant equipment.
• Working on Sustainable use of ash handling solutions (bottom and fly ash).
• Review/comment/approve engineering drawings, invoices and procurement.
• Leading a multidisciplinary team (Supervisors, Shift In-charges, Technicians, Engineers) in Erection, Commissioning, FAT and training activities.
• Integration of existing power plant with new biomass boiler.

Key Duties
• Maintenance planning and optimize operations.
• Leading and training multi-disciplinary team for O&M.
• Development of RCA and Condition Monitoring of rotary equipment in the plant.
• Manpower, tools and special equipment development.
• On-job training for technicians to be qualified working on turbines, compressors, pumps etc.
• Management of raw water & drinking water. Improving quality of drinking water to the mill.
• Implementation of 5S, over time reductions to help improve employee and plant performance.
• Safety awareness and its implementation in keeping with OSHA standards
• Involved in Project Planning, Scheduling & Commissioning of Tube-well Under-ground Piping.
• Commissioning of 200TPH Boiler & 41MW Turbine.
• Efficiency Improvement of Power Plant.
• Vendor Development & inventory management.
• Due Diligence Report on 41 MW CHPP.
