Key Duties
• To lead and support the Project team from development of conceptual design, installation, commissioning, operations and maintenance.
• Overall management of project mechanical activities ensuring timely & safely completion within quality standards.
• Develop international and local contractors to support project activities.
• Develop local vendors to support fabrication of parts locally.
• Review, comment and maintain engineering documents of the project.
• Manage stakeholders including Consultants, Contractors, End users and Internal/External Team.
• Maintain effective communication with all internal/external stakeholders.

Key Duties
• Build and manage the project with a clear objective to complete it within the PM principles.
• Coordination among different stakeholders (in various roles, geographical placement & nationalities) including Consultants, Contractors, End users and Internal Team.
• Participation in Tendering as well as Pre-qualification of consultants and contractors.
• Ensuring thorough quality management for all activities on the project.
• Sourcing and evaluating contractors (technically / commercially) for competitive market.
analysis and enabling maximum parallel activities for fast-track.
• Developing of international/local vendors related to power plant and utilities.
• Reviews and provides comments / approval on design deliverables / packages of all equipment such as pumps, compressors, valves etc. prepared by Contractor, in line with the scope of work requirements, Company’s specifications and international codes / standards.
• Maintains and applies up to date knowledge of various rotating equipment as required for machinery selection during project work without imposing undue limiting restrictions on future project phases.
• Leading a multidisciplinary team during erection, commissioning and operation.
• Implementation of safe and optimum O&M practices at the Power Plant.
