In 2011, my role was expanded to include the full responsibilities of marketing, branding and PR. This includes all facets of the job: planning, budgeting, branding, CSR and more in addition to the below:
• Costing & Pricing: Set the costing/pricing model for all Mada services (WiMAX, IP connectivity, Microwave & Fiber transmission)
• Processes’ Development: Designed product development internal process and set required business rules between departments to guarantee an efficient launch cycle
• Training & Monitoring: oversaw training workshop of Sales’ channels and regularly monitored performance
• Market & Competition
• Analysis: evaluated local market and analyzed competitors’ services which helped in positioning Mada as the leader wireless data provider in less than one year
• Vendor Selection: Actively participated in vendor evaluation of infrastructure suppliers
• Branding & Service Launch: Led Mada core commercial team in brand and service prelaunch and launch stages and successfully launched WiMAX service in less than 7 months
• Partnership agreements: represented Mada in negotiations with international and local partners and succeeded to decrease the cost of service by more than 50%
• Staff hiring & training: Founded the sales and marketing department, hired and trained a team of 10 sales
• and presales engineers
• Sales Achievement: Led corporate sales and presales team to achieve sales targets
Costing & Pricing: Reviewed and modified wholesale service’s pricing and costing model and created an enhanced service catalogue
• Product Development: Developed/launched services based on market research results
• Proposal design: Designed tailor made offers for specific telecom service demands
• Processes: Created enhanced sales and marketing process for new services and reviewed and enhanced process for existing ones
• Billing automation: Participated in billing migration from manual to automated method
• Coaching: Conducted trainings and awareness sessions and presented services to Orange staff in addition to local and international clients
• Service regulating: Maintained compliance with telecom regulations for service licensing
Managed a profile of fifty key account customers of multinational and foreign agencies segement (+ 5million JD/year revenue).
• Attained full customer portfolio knowledge in terms of operational structure, decision makers, monthly revenues and jordan telecom group status.
I received training on the “CONNECT” software tool, microwave planning, and database feeding;
Supervision and monitoring the provision (Microwave management); Planning to for Star project including BSC’s transfer.
