• Directed company’s start-up, growth, and financial infrastructure. Built the business to £1.5m in revenue with 20% profit and 43 clients in just two years - prior to a second round of investment.

Oversaw the entire gamut of operations, sales, production, marketing and editorial for B2B magazine publisher. Reversed a trend of declining sales and captured key retail accounts to expand business’ market share. Managed 5 direct & 35 indirect reports.
• Delivered digital transformation strategy, which saw the business repositioned from traditional publishing house into modern, integrated, multi-channel media company. Leveraged high opportunity digital movement.
• Initiated, formulated and implemented business turnaround strategy of previously loss-making operation. Grew annual revenues by 50% from £1.5m to £3.2m, with a 30% surge in profit between 2008 and 2011.
• Led the development and implementation of annual marketing plans that resulted in consistent sales increases, in a flat growth industry. This growth resulted in MPP becoming profitable in 2009, for the first time in over three years.
