Duties include the following:
• Develops, implements and maintains the HSE plan & procedures and all project documents related to safety, and ensures that all these documentations comply with the international and local (i.e. QCS 2014, PWA Specifications, etc.) standards and meets the project requirements.
• Reviews contractors' Health and Safety Management Plan, Procedures and Risk Assessment.
• Designs short and long term plans of action in order to prevent accidents from occurring and make certain that these plans are effectively managed.
• Works diligently with the field personnel to assist the site managers and inspectors in strictly enforcing the contract safety provisions, including compliance with the applicable safety standards.
• Participates in conducting incident/accident investigation to determine the root and underlying causes and develops strategies in preventing accident/incident in the workplace.

• Conducts reviews of potential risks on projects and identifies potential mitigation measures.
• Monitors and prevents potential hazards and risk that could be present in the work place.
• Monitors and supervises the process of the work control centers and recommend for improvement.
• Conducts regular site walkthrough and inspections of the workplace and checks if it is in accordance with legal requirements.

• Performs onsite focus audits to ensure regulatory compliance.
