•Responsible for management of the asset-liability position of the bank by funding the Bank’s book in the safest and most cost-effective manner.
•Managing the dealing room staff (8) to ensure maximum productivity.
•Work closely with other business units to identify deposits/loans trends, and possible impact on Bank’s liquidity.
•Approves the daily counter rates for the Bank’s retail customers
•Providing treasury and corporate clients with the different hedging tools available for mitigating their risks
•Support the investment process by identifying compelling investment opportunities and providing recommendations accordingly. Conduct due diligence, research and presentations of project related market conditions
•Review and update Treasury manual
•Participate in the training plan for the fresh employees acknowledge them about the treasury products and services
•Come up with ideas and formulate strategies to take advantage of money market movements. Provide a comprehensive assessment on Money Market activities and highlight trends in various currencies during the regular management meetings.
•Cash management for different currencies and different tenors (gaps / matching).
•Following up on the bank’s portfolio of bonds, stocks, futures and foreign currencies.
•Following up on the customer’s portfolio of stocks, currencies (margin trading), futures and bonds.
•Market treasury products.
•Preparing daily market view (fundamental & technical) for currencies and stocks
•Quotes competitive prices to Treasury Internal & External Clients and bank on all currencies
•Gathering Information about the local market and the G7 Market in order to get a precise idea about the economic situation and the trend of interest rates.
•Execute trades for clients portfolio and bank portfolio.
•Account opening for treasury clients
•Managing the vostro and nostro Accounts
•Manage cash surpluses for all currencies
