Responsible for all submittals to main contractor Arabtec Construction Company (TiME Qatar, Gensler, CEG International) such as Shop Drawings, Mock-up Drawings, Material Submittals (including samples if applicable), Request for Information (RFI), Technical Submittals (Calculations), Method Statement, and (COD) Close Out Documents (As-Built Drawings, Red Line Drawings, Testing and Commissioning Method Statement, Operation and Maintenance Manual, Warranties, Close Out Reports.

Maintaining Weekly Close-Out Report Tracker, E1 Material Submittal, Method Statement & Technical Submittal Logs, RFI Logs, Testing & Commissioning Logs, Incoming from Main Contractor & Sub-Contractors Logs, Outgoing to Sub-Contractors Log, scanning & sending PDF files through email according to distribution mark-up done by Project Manager / Project Director. Proper filing & labeling of documents.

Scrutinizing, proper & keen checking of submittals from 3 main sub-contractors ECONOSTO Fire Fighting Co. (Fire Fighting), Structurel Qatar (Low Voltage) and Johnson Controls International (Extra Low Voltage) before proceeding to the next course of action.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities:
• Coordinate all activities related to the Document Control procedure, including technical documents, drawings, mock-ups, materials, method statements & RFIs.
• Input document data into the standard registers ensuring that the information is accurate and up to date.
• Generate the various document control reports as required.
• Daily coordinating and maintaining good working relationships with the Main Contractor (Arabtec) as well as with 3 Sub-Main Contractors; Johnson Controls Inc.(ELV), Structurel Qatar (LV) & Econosto(FF) for smoothness of the workflow.
• Makes sure that controlled copies of latest approved documents and drawings are given to the appropriate staff, subcontractors and suppliers as applicable.
• Maintain updated records of all approved documents and drawings and their distribution clearly.
• Maintain the documents and drawings in the Document Control office under safe custody without any damage or deterioration with easy traceability.
• Maintain the files and control logs as required by the project.
