Job Description:
●An eye for detail and the ability to deal efectively with guests, housekeeping staf and other departments.
●Obtaining list of vacant rooms to clean immediately and list of prospective check outs or discharge in order to prepare work assignments.
●Assigning team members their duties and inspecting work for conformance to prescribed standards of cleanliness.
●Maintaining clear and eficient communication and co ordination with front ofice and all other departments of hotel.
●Preparing and assigning the room assignment sheets and floor keys to room boys.
●Maintaining and scheduling the cleaning of room carpets, upholstery and draperies as needed along with deep cleaning projects and window cleaning as necessary.
●Maintaining inventories of guest supplies and linen stocks to ensure adequate supplies.
●Reviewing outside laundry facility to ensure quality, undamaged linens and consistent delivery keeping in mind the budgetary guidelines.
●Coordinating with vendors e.g. Pest control laundry services and other outsource services.
●Reviewing housekeeping points on guest feedbacks forms and take necessary actions on guest complaints and also share compliments with staf members.
●Submitting request for repair and periodic maintenance of cleaning equipment.
●Preparing store requisition, purchase other supplies and equipment and also monitor par stock on all housekeeping supplies and linen.
