Monitoring all Electrical Engineering network aspects of the project to ensure compliance with approved and proper standards.

Client: AES Philippines Power Plant - Masinloc, Zambales, Philippines
RESPOSIBILITIES:
•Lead the team in the design and construction / installation of underground medium voltage cables for additional 5 MVA Outdoor Power Transformer that includes cable terminations and testing and commissioning.
•Directly coordinating and attending meeting with the engineering team of the client to discuss the progress and to ensure that the project is in order and within the agreed time of completion.
PROJECT HANDLED:
Project: Rehabilitation of Electrical Power, Fire Detection & Alarm System and Security System of Military Camps for Kuwait Air Defense
Manage, monitor and coordinate the electrical works progress.
Overall review of electrical works and special other systems technical specifications in a timely and accurate manner conforming to the design requirements of the contract and design standards.
Review project technical specification and determine inspection and test requirements and applicable codes and standards.
Review the opportunities for the value engineering of the design.
Intervene proactively to prevent or mitigate delays of the project.
Advise the Project Manager of logistical issues related to the suuply of the materials.
Coordinate the hand over of spare parts, as-built drawings and operation and maintenance manuals under the term of contract.
Conduct in-process inspection and verify specific requirements for inspection in accordance with contract specification and inspection procedure standard.
Conduct final inspection of the product prior to installation to determine whether all requirements for inspections and testing have been properly addressed.

Prepares engineering studies and schematic design for Electrical system and analyzes the operation of existing systems.
•Assess project requirements, breaks projects into tasks to determine scope of work while overseeing budget and assigning staff.
•Writes scopes of work for electrical designs based on preliminary review and client requirements.
•Works with code officials and other design professionals when an interpretation or exception to building codes is required.
• Coordinates project document completion externally with clients, and with other relevant design professionals.
•Review sub-contractor’s project contracts and maintains a thorough understanding of the construction process for all disciplines.
Assume full management and technical authority for interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating the project executions and oversee the progress to ensure that the projects are completed satisfactorily, on time and within budget.
