Job Profile and Responsibilities:
• Identify the potential hazards and take necessary precautions to eliminate the hazard.
• Assess and provide innovative technical solutions for prevention / control of incidents throughout all phases of project life cycle.
• Conduct safety Inspection / audit to assess effectiveness or compliances to policies, standards and provide recommendations.
• Identify / develop / review training modules / requirements for Operations Safety Management.
• Carry out risk assessment within ALARP ( As Low As Reasonably Practicable).
• Participates in incident investigations and follow up of corrective actions. Provides specialist input in accident / near miss trend analysis.
Job Profile and Responsibilities:
• Participates in incident investigations and follow up of corrective actions. Provides specialist input in accident / near miss trend analysis.
• Ensure emergency procedures are established to ensure standard of preparedness.
• Inspect facilities, machinery and safety equipment to identify and correct potential hazards, and to ensure safety regulation compliance.
• Implementation of H2S Program /Procedure, Confined space, Emergency response management, Mock-Drills, Safety Management Systems, Loss preventions.
• Conduct initial training for new employee in areas such as safety laws and regulations, hazardous condition monitoring, and use of safety equipment (PPE).
Certified Safety Professionals (CSP) are persons who perform at least 50% of professional level safety duties, including making worksite assessments to determine risks, assessing potential hazards and controls, evaluating risks and hazard control measures, investigating incidents, maintaining and evaluating incident and loss records, and preparing emergency response plans. Other duties could include hazard recognition, fire protection, regulatory compliance, health hazard control, ergonomics, hazardous materials management, environmental protection, training, accident and incident, investigations, advising management, record keeping, emergency response, managing safety programs, product safety and/or security. The CSP program is internationally accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI). The CSP program is nationally accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA).
Demonstrates a broad scope of knowledge of SH&E practice• Serves as one of several approved credentials meeting requirements for the CSP
1 Year Advanced Diploma In Industrial Safety.
3 Year Diploma In Mechanical Engineering.
