Providing comprehensive HSE advisory to Project Manager, Resident Engineer and all members of Construction management team where appropriate on the Project.
Review Project HSE Plan, Construction EMP and Traffic Management Plan from the contractor to ensure compliance with local, federal and relevant HSE requirements and Code of Practices.
Reviewing Contractor’s weekly and monthly HSE reports, Risk Assessment, Method Statements, Inspections and Test Plan.
Participating in the investigation of site accidents and incidents.
Preparing consultant monthly safety reports.
Participating in senior management weekly HSE tour and preparing the reports.
Issuing improvement/ prohibition notices and NCRs whenever required.
Participating in the weekly HSE meetings with client and contractor and preparing minutes of meeting.
Conducting HSE related training to Consultant staff on weekly basis.
Liaising with client EHS Engineers & inspectors for the implementation of approved HSE Plan on site.
Conducting regular internal audits to ensure compliance with procedures.

Compliance with the Company safety Procedures and Policies in accordance with the requirements of the ISM Code, ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004 and ISO 45001:2018 Standards.
Ensuring approved HSE plan is effectively implemented at site by regular and periodic inspection and report any Noncompliance to the project HSE Manger and Construction Team.
Carrying out/participating Task Risk Assessments and considering how risks could be reduced.
Outlining safe operational procedures which identify and take account of all relevant hazards.
Recommending improvements to working practices and ensure that are safe and comply with legislation.
Leading in-house training to employees about health and safety issues and risks.
Planning practical and effective methods, both preventative and remedial, of promoting safety.
Attending safety committee meetings. .
Carrying out accident investigations on site and producing subsequent reports and recommendations.
Weekly & Monthly Walk down around the Site along with Senior Site Management.

Compliance with the Company safety Procedures and Policies in accordance with the requirements of the ISM Code, ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007 Standards.
Prepare the safety documents including plans & procedures
Carrying out accident investigations on site and producing subsequent reports and recommendations.
Weekly & Monthly Walk down around the Site along with Senior Site Management.
Developing, Reviewing and approving all HSE submittals in regard to HSE plan for whole project and risk assessment plan for each activity.
Managing contract work and overseeing their health and safety performance onsite
Keeping up to date with new legislation and ensuring the implementation.
Organizing third party inspection to equipment and training to site team,
Carrying out regular site inspections to check policies and procedures are being implemented.
Ensure accurate interpretation and timely communication of HSE issues to the HSE Manager.
Ensure that a full-strength team is always available and that appropriate training is provided to site Emergency Response Team (ERT) members.
Report any non-conforming site safety violation by subcontractors & workers.
Able to perform hazard assessments to confirm effectiveness of procedures.
Enforce safety regulations at all levels of organization.
Ensuring strict adherence to client work permit procedure

Conduct regular site safety inspections and prepare the site safety observation report and ensure its timely closeout.
Ensure daily site safety observation report has been addressed to the concerned construction team and corrective action has been taken.
Ensure that all the site personnel are adequately trained to carry out the specific job.
Ensure that adequate Emergency equipment are available at working area.
Inspect & Ensure proper maintenance, calibration and operation of all safety equipment.
Participating in the investigation of site accidents and incidents.
Conducting hands on training on site and risk assessment in site, notably lifting, scaffolding, hot work & Excavations etc.
Conducting mass tool box meeting for company workers and sub-contractors.
Ensure that all the critical activities are started by obtaining the valid work permit.
Ensure that supervisors are conducted job briefing by verifying the JSTI.

Ensuring valid work permit has been obtained from client prior to start any activities on the site
Ensuring gas test has been conducted prior to operatives entering to the work area.
Ensuring the valid approved Risk Assessment and method of statement has been available on site and communicated to the work force.
Responsible for undertaking inspections and ensuring implementation and compliance with approved HSE procedures and local regulations.
Promoting better safety awareness through monthly safety campaigns through proactive training, toolbox talks and poster campaigns.
Administer the first-aid & prepare medical program and maintain facility and supplies, to ensure readiness at all time.
