• Conceptualizing and developing Occupational Health And Safety Management System and ensuring it is implemented consistently across the organization.
 To advise the senior management team on the implications of current and emerging, health & safety and fire safety legislation, including evaluation of options, making recommendations and generating action plans to ensure compliance across the organisation.
 To ensure that routine health and safety activities and checks are carried out (e.g. maintenance/testing of equipment, reviewing risk assessments and work place inspections), properly documented and actions followed up.
 To take action to mitigate the impact and likelihood of health & safety and fire safety risks.
 To assist in the identification of training needs for employees and develop and deliver training as required to meet these needs.
 To carry out audits to confirm the implementation and compliance with health & safety and fire safety systems and procedures, including conducting fire drills and test procedures as appropriate, and identifying and implementing improvements.
 To develop, monitor, evaluate and review health & safety and fire safety policy and practice, make recommendations to improve and implement new policies and procedures as required.

 Performing or initiating investigation and analysis of all safety related incidents.
 Developing & conducting safety training & drills.
 Preparing the safety management annual evaluation report.
 Developing emergency preparedness plans in accordance with hospital incident command system.
 Preparing the annual evaluation report
 Preparing and reviewing the safety manual.
 Developing risk assessment program, job hazard analysis and ensuring its implementation.
 Developing and monitoring utilities, equipments, hazardous materials and fire safety programs.
