I taught English (TEFL) for grades 5 to 8 for 10 yrs.
Then I was appointed as Head Teacher of English staff for 2 yrs when I left for Qatar. In that time I supervised 7 teachers in an intermediate school teaching grades 5 to 8. Then I joined Ministry of Education in Qatar as a teacher of English, teaching grades 10 to 12, until 2004, when I joined Al-Yarmouk Independent School there as a Head of English Dept. for 2 yrs. In the meantime, I taught English for undergrads at Qatar University and at the Arab Academy for Science & Technology as a part-timer, for several disciplines including business, humanities, science and engineering.
I got this diploma (DipRSA) from the Royal Society of Arts in London which is designed for overseas teachers of English. Modules included but not limited, syllabus design, methodology and critical analysis of various curricula.
