Hold lectures in health informatics for 100 to 150 students from different faculties each year.
Work with colleagues from diverse disciplines (e.g., medical education department).
Responsible for managing taught programmes, including oversight of day to day operational processes (e.g. timetabling, assessment, examination systems) and programme accreditation processes.
Ensure that programme design and delivery comply with the quality standards and regulations of the University.
Contribute to the development of academic processes and teaching strategies across the institution.
Define and implement processes and procedures for information management
Provide clinical and technical knowledge in designing workflows, configuration, and integration; and Clinical Decision Support (CDS).
Participate in development, deployment and change management of electronic solutions.
Assess the current health system, processes with patient outcomes, and compare them to standards and guidelines, and national benchmarks
Perform testing and validation for health systems within different levels (Functional, System, Integration, and UAT).
Work with other medical teams on developing knowledgebase and best practices including clinical practice guidelines, workflows, clinical decision support modules.
Improve the clinical system and workflows by using the quality and patient safety tools like performing root cause analysis and PDCA tool
alignment of clinical systems design and use to evidence-based, accreditation requirement; and best practices.
My responsibilities:
Demonstrates and teaches patient care in classroom and clinical units to nursing students and instructs students in principles and application of physical, biological, and psychological subjects related to nursing: Lectures to students, conducts and supervises laboratory work, issues assignments, and directs seminars and panels.
Supervises student nurses and demonstrates patient care in clinical units of the hospital.
Prepares and administers examinations, evaluates student progress, and maintains records of student classroom and clinical experience.
Participates in planning curriculum, teaching schedule, and course outline.
Cooperates with medical and nursing personnel in evaluating and improving teaching and nursing practices.
