• Developed and presented the video ‘Cristal Family Testimonies’ in 2014 that demonstrated the advantages of trainings conducted at site.
• Credited with developing, standardizing and implementing numerous procedures and documents that included SHE Book (2015), SHE Induction Card (2015), First OJT Program (2015), Safety Training Calendar (2016), Safety Training Matrix (2016), and Safety Training Plan (2016).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Deployed at site to review site training needs by coordinating with HR and various departmental managers, formulate and implement training programs that improve job performance and productivity, and play a key role in achieving manufacturing excellence.
• Monitor training programs consistently, gauge effectiveness by assessing improvement in employee output at site, manage training delivery across the entire training cycle, record lessons learnt and imbibe these in future trainings.
• Collaborate with the Training Manager to define and finalize the site training plan along with goals and time bound targets; integrate the plan with the organizational training initiatives.
• Support operational excellence initiatives by driving effective training programs with full participation from staff at site; ensure compliance with all norms and directives of regulatory agencies.
• Drive continuous improvement across the organization to attain ‘Organization Excellence Standards’, liaise with external consultants (where required), implement external consultant schedule and maintain high training standards.
• Counsel staff on career development, support HR department’s staff retention initiatives, and play a key role in promoting training participants to positions of higher responsibility.
• Ensure accreditation and official recognition for the site’s training programs, promote training programs to internal stakeholders, and ensure that training departmental goals are met.
• Reviews training results after completion of trainings, evaluate whether any improvements are needed and ways to make the entire process efficient, present findings to management and carry out improvements.
• Assist the management in preparing the training budget and forecasting future training needs in line with operations.
• Collaborate with the HR department in developing and establishing appraisal programs, KPIs, monitoring mechanisms and training material.

• Tested strength of welds for critical structures / metal fabrication, handled repairs of worn out metal parts through welding.
• Carried out operational set-up of different types of welding machines, oversaw machine maintenance and issued purchase requisitions for spare parts.
• Interpreted engineering drawings correctly to ensure welds were made at the exact places on the metal parts.
