As an Electrical Engineer, my roles are:
-prepare BOQ, execution of distribution substation, and utility network extension for 11 kV OHL and underground cables.
-Design and execution of street light work in addition to maintenance on daily basis as Dhofar Municipality is our valuable customer.
-obtaining required approvals from local authorities.
-manage and distribute the manpower.
Maintain on daily basis maintenance of electrical, ELV systems, and HVAC systems as a part of regular and preventive maintenance programs in addition to reports and plans of energy saving.
-Responsible for explaining drawing to the teams on the site.
-manage and organize manpower.
-prepare as-built drawings
-daily work progress reports.
-Material requests.
-coordinate with other parties in the projects (civil engineer, mechanical, and others).
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Insure the optimal operation, installation, and preventive main of the Diesel Generators set.
2. Installation of DGs at the site as per manufacturer guidance and site conditions.
3. Monitoring performance of DGs daily to ensure that it works properly note down the daily reports.
4. Carry out preventive maintenance for diesel generators set regularly.
5. Design off-grid PV (photovoltaic) systems using PVsyst. Software.
6. PV systems designing includes PV modules, inverters, charge controllers, and batteries.
7. Report documents that are related to Diesel sets and (photovoltaic) systems.
I have studied electrical engineering (Power ) bachelor of science (B.Sc) degree 5 years system, this degree gave the knowledge and the way to dig more the field of electrical engineering and every day during my current 6 years of experience I am learning some thing new, I am passionate and enjoying the challenges.
