Ensure the Site Safety and Health Plan is prepared and implemented.
Advise on potential hazards at the site.
Provides the project with health and safety expertise and ensures the project is in compliance with corporate H & S requirements.
Check proper maintenance, calibration and operation of all safety equipment.

Ensure that Safety Procedures and Instructions are complied.
Maintaining fire-fighting appliances and life-saving equipment in accordance with the Planned Maintenance System and related certification in date; making records or reports about that, as directed.
Monitor the "Permit to Work" system and checking for compliance.
