· Lead maintenance team of 38 people (e.g., site repair and construction, preventive maintenance, calibration, validation, budgeting, safety program) to provide services within the deadline and in compliance with cGMP requirements.
· Utilized the +QDCI Visual Management Systems, SMED, VSM and worked with the site Lean Manufacturing Team to improve the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and minimize equipment failures.
· Lead the engineering team for successful competition of PIC/S certification for the first time of the site including layout design, manufacturing area renovation, HVAC validation, area validation and machine requalification.
· Developed and monitored CAPEX (1.5 M AUD) and OPEX budget (460 K AUD)
· Monitored the balance between maintenance cost and strategic importance and life expectancy of equipment by complying with HSE requirement, local regulations and ensuring energy consumption.
· Ensured all the aspects of construction, repair work, project, equipment, work order, daily maintenance supplies to ensure that the jobs are completed efficiently and accurately following the required specifications.
· Prepared SOPs' managed engineering CAPA, change control procedure aligned Sanofi regulations.
· Provided training and development of team members on a day to day coaching and leadership to ensure performance delivery and efficiency.
* Ensured maintenance schedules, calibration programs, safety targets, production efficiency metrics, and other operational measurements as a departmental head.
* Completed the clean room & HVAC (Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning) extension project of around 500 sqm area as a project leader including layout preparation, project plan, cost estimation, installation & validation.
* Supervised staffs include hiring, training, evaluating performance, providing compensation recommendations and determining disciplinary actions when necessary; served as a leader to the lower-level supervisors for prioritizing and assigning work and providing work direction.
* Developed manufacturing processes flow by designing and
modifying equipment, fabricating and installing components to improve machine productivity, avoid error and duplication of work.
i. Plan and execute scheduled maintenance program of production machines and utilities.
ii. Working as In Charge of new Animal Health Projects, Boundary Wall, Rented Ware House etc projects including BOQ preparation, offer evaluation & regular supervision.
iii. Develop and update the status of qualification documentation of production
machinery.
iv. Perform IQ, OQ, PQ of new machinery and system and generate reports. Prepare & execute the retrospective qualification of existing machineries.
v Investigate feasibility of any type of technical / engineering modification, plan and execute thereby.
vi. Sourcing and keep communication with domestic and overseas suppliers of machines, equipments, parts and any other accessories.
vii. Training of associates for any changes or new addition of system or technology.
viii. Ensuring strategic inventory level of spares for minimum interruption of operation.
ix. Supervise all sort of civil construction, facility maintenance of the plant.
x. Maintain safety, security and hygienic of the plant as per company policy.
i. Prepare project related drawing like layout, man & material flow in AutoCAD, evaluate machine related drawing by supplier for machine installation.
ii. Prepare project related schedule, material requisition, machineries specification (URS) for the ongoing project work of The ACME specialized Pharmaceutical Ltd.
. Ensure all machineries & equipments of whole plant in operable position.
ii. Make the distribution of works depending on the priority & emergency of production machineries & equipments to the technicians & of engineering department.
iii. Accept the responsibility as a group leader for group work & supervise the activities of all machines, electricians, turners, and junior engineering assistant and general helpers and always report to Manager, Engineering.
iv. Impart training to the personal of engineering department regarding the QMS and maintain the documentation of ISO 9001:2000 QMS & ensure its implementation in all level of departmental activities.
. Work as a departmental head of engineering department of the Bayer CropScience Ltd (former Rhone- Poulenc Bangladesh & Aventis Crop Science Ltd) in their Tongi plant.
ii. Process trouble shooting and remedial actions implementation of machineries and equipments of the factory with a team equipped with one maintenance supervisor, one electrician and two mechanics.
iii. Execution of the departmental purchase and maintain communication with vendors and local suppliers or external suppliers as and when needed to import any spares.
iv. Improvement /modification of plant equipment, spares monitoring, need assessment of spare parts, evaluating of the quotations and issuance of work order as needed time to time.
v. Prepare the preventive maintenance schedule of all production machineries and execution of the preventive maintenance, routine maintenance and trouble shooting.
vi. Revise the Engineering spare inventory control system and bring up to date the store stock report.
vii. Take up activities for continuous development on technical skill and motivation of sub-ordinates and performance appraisal of graded Staff.
viii. Supervision of plant related development work, assist dispatch of products from the plant or any specific job assigned by the Head of Supply Chain & Production.
ix. Prepare global QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety& Environment) report, maintain safety, security and hygiene of the plant as per policy of the company and activities to conform to occupational safety standards.
i. Ensure breakdown and preventive maintenance and trouble shooting of various kinds of pharmaceutical machineries.
ii. Calibration and validation of different measuring instruments and machineries (Auto Clave, Dry Heat Sterilizer) and keep the records.
iii. Prepare and maintain different ISO documents like preventive maintenance schedule & record, breakdown maintenance record, SOPs, Maintenance SOPs of various machineries etc.
iv. Installation and commissioning of newly imported machines and regular maintenance.
v. Prepare Installation Qualification, Operation Qualification, Performance Qualification
documents of newly installed machineries.
vi. Plan and execution of the preventive maintenance schedule for all production equipments. Take corrective actions wherever necessary.
vii. Prepare the layout drawing of The ACME Agrovet& Beverage Ltd and The ACME Laboratories Ltd in AutoCAD.
viii. Organize the various drawings like Air supply system, Water distribution system of The ACME Laboratories Ltd in AutoCAD.
ix. Assist AGM (Engg) regarding various documents, AutoCAD drawing for ISO, different audit or international license and different corresponds with suppliers & consultants.
x. Prepare comparative study, justification and technical analysis of several quotations of different pharmaceutical machineries.
