My main role involves writing for the lifestyle and features section of Emirates Woman magazine; researching for global reports and features, compiling single pages for health and travel. My responsibilities also involve writing for Emirates Woman online, for which I write articles on celebrity news, lifestyle, fashion and advertising.
Additionally, I have worked on a number of other Motivate magazines including Emirates Bride for which I have compiled single pages on lifestyle, travel, beauty and assisted on a beauty shoot. I have also worked on Emirates Mini, Harvey Nichols magazine and Hello! Middle East.
My role consisted of turning around press releases and writing features for online articles published on Mancunian Matters, an online newspaper.
Performed hearing screening assessments for possible cases of noise induced hearing loss, across the U.K. My role also involved relaying information and results to clients, solicitors and legal-advisors.
Promoted FTN, a nutraceutical drink launched by the entrepreneur behind Goody Good Stuff sweets: going out into the public talking to people about FTN, helping out at social events, distributing samples and getting feedback on the product.
Assisted with the companies social media and helped to develop their website.
Worked part time at Trafford General Hospital Audiology Paediatric Department. My job role involved performing paediatric hearing testing, hearing aid fitting and rehabilitation.
This work required the ability to explain complex technicalities to patients and parents in a simple way and with empathy.
Performed adult diagnostic testing and rehabilitation. This involved journal keeping, history taking and correspondence with different parents and a variety of professionals.
Service development; designed patient information leaflets, equipment self-help guides for members of staff, completed audits.
Responsibilities involved completing Microsoft Excel spreadsheets.
1 year masters degree in advanced audiology. This degree involves designing and executing a research study.
Four year degree, with a year working in national health care (NHS).
