Responsibilities:
 (Logistics Engineer):
 Building and maintaining relationships with logistics and implementing logistics and
supply chain strategies.

 Monitoring and analyzing logistics and supply chain performance and making

 Providing advice and support MTD on logistics and supply chain matters

operating procedures including (Tender, purchase order, & expediting process).
 Implementing the five process phases DMAIC to improve the control, inventory &
standardization operating procedures including (Reservation, Inventory Count and
Market Survey).
 Logistics Expediting: for different expediting processsuch as expediting report, customs
clearance documents, VAT, e-mail reminder for overdue & delivery, justification for the
delay evaluation or clarification, penalty, contact the supplier via e-mail -phone, follow
up the open purchase order on delivery date.
 Market Survey: provide the requirement for which materials need to get the budget
quotation, analyze the right source to get the effective market for the requested
materialsto get the budgetary quotation in the fast track in order to minimize the delay.
 Warehouse Operations Enhancement assignment tasks in different areas such as:
 searching and gathering data from the staff to help study the area & find any wastes
(Transport, Inventory, Motion, Waiting, Over-Processing, Defects, Unutilized Talent)
that affect the areas (Receiving - Issuing - inventory) and need to be improved.
 Propose plan for reorganizations of materials stored in open yard & Provide the
design decisions also some samples of aisle design for pipes open area.
 Propose warehouse dashboard showing all numbers for opening, pending & closed
documents weekly and monthly.
 Propose a new system and procedure along with control and purchasing Dept. to
enhance the operation system and help to reduce any wastes.
 Participating in fixed assets control & monitoring committee meeting to evaluate
and then to approve or disapprove the application for abandonment (scrapping -
demolished- missing)
 Creating a new work instruction and standard for fix assets scrapping & non-fix
assets (chemical & metal) scrapping
