•Develop and introduce in-house project management procedure for construction supervision and management.
•Prepare special report to company management to investigate problems related to the scope and to provide recommendations and advice on any potential variation to the scope, since it may create cost or time impact.
•Monitor the progress of project at regular intervals through site visits and ensure that the project is running as per schedule and prepare daily site report and weekly progress report for the appraisal of higher management and provide timely advise to the management of any foreseen slippage of progress and propose corrective actions.
•Attend executive, weekly, monthly, quality & safety meetings and facilitate all audits carried out by third parties.
•Monitor and review sub-contractors’ activities for the progress and quality of work and scope creep to identify potential issues and proactively identify solutions to redress them.
•Liaise with the managers of other disciplines and ensure proper coordination among all trades.
•Ensure that all site activities going on are in accordance with the approved Project Quality Plan (PQP) and enforce measures for strict adherence to the environmental and safety norms and regulations.
•Ensure fulfillment of client expectations by providing delivery of highest quality service and promptly acting on feedbacks.
•Conduct formal and regular HSE audits to assess the compliance with HSE procedures & plans and initiate necessary action for the introduction of corrective actions.
•Organize periodical meetings with clients / consultants and maintain strong client service orientation combined with trusting relationship with clients / consultants and participate in management review meetings.
•Scrutinize the claims put up by the contractors and issue provisional acceptance certificate (PAC) or Final acceptance certificate (FAC) and perform the project closure activities.
•Implementation of pre-commissioning & commissioning plans, participate in final inspection, review of snags and rectification of snags.
•Complete the project related documents and initiate the project closure activities in coordination with the contractors.

Project brief: Design review and construction of regional water mains (PRMs) from the TRANSCO line to the regional network of developments (DI Pipe- 800 mm & HDPE Pipe 280 mm), internal water distribution network for all the three developments Shams Abu Dhabi, Tamouh sector 1, 5 & 6, 2-3 and Najmat Abu Dhabi (HDPE Pipe 630-32 MM) and construction of valves chambers, data measuring points, bulk consumers, fire hydrants, domestic connections and other network accessories and fittings as per ADWEA/ADDC standards.

•Review and approval of project plan, safety plan, quality plan & contractors prequalification.
•Review and approval of work method statement, materials submittals, shop drawings and prepare RFI replies.

•Ensure strict compliance to company’s QC manual; perform periodical internal / external audits. Also, conduct HSE audits, risk assessment and timely introduction of preventive measures.
•Accompany the consultant during site inspections and make sure that all activities are completed and the site is ready for inspection.
•Monitor the project activities against Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and ensure financial administration of the project.
•Implementing pre-commissioning &commissioning plans, participate in final inspection, preparation of snag list, reviewing and assessing close out report.
•Perform contract closure activities after ensuring the project has addressed all the terms, conditions, and fully met the exit criteria.

Project brief: Construction of Marfa Pumping station "LOT-C" with pumping capacity of 22, 740m3\ hour. Backfilling embankment work (42, 000m3), foundations for pumps and motors. Steel structure for shed. Four number shell tanks with 10 million gallon water capacity. Ring beam for the shell tanks, engineering fill inside ring beam. Key Responsibilities:
•Accountable for managing and leading a team of seven employees, with the responsibility of site supervision of projects and reporting to Resident Engineer.
•Responsible for studying the site plan, layout, design, etc. and analyzing the feasibility and effectiveness of the project.
•Assist the resident Engineer in making changes to the construction design to make the project more feasible and eco-friendly.
•Supervise and coordinate the project activities, to ensure timely and accurate completion of the construction project.
•Manage the approval of project plan, safety plan, quality plan & contractors prequalification.
