Key Responsibilities as Purchasing and Demand Planning Manager:
Demand Planning, Purchasing and Sales Coordination
• Analyze sales forecasts and sales order data, provide schedules to manufacturing companies and follow up to ensure order fulfillment with on time in full (OTIF) performance.
• Prepare and process all purchase documentation including purchase orders adhering strictly to all applicable company policies and procedures.

• Manage the demand planning master schedule by monitoring demand supply at overall as well as product family levels against sales forecasts, identify imbalances and variances and recommend action plans for stabilizing the master schedule.
• Monitor performance in managing the master schedule through evaluation of key scheduling indicators like lead times, safety stocks, delivery times and order fill rates for all items on the master schedule.
• Define data requirements and prepare templates for sales and operations planning and coordinate collection and updating of all data to ensure planning accuracy.
• Collaborate with the sales team in analyzing sales trends, order fill rates/backlogs and customer service levels of various products and developing or updating inventory plans to meet business demands.
• Organize periodic reviews with sales team and appropriate manufacturing plants for balancing demands of the sales team and supply from the plants.
• Coordinate with plant managers production plans including both volume and mix aligned to the production capacities and constraints for cost effective fulfillment of market demands.
• Contribute to programs for overall reduction in material costs including refinements in the inventory policy to maintain optimum stock levels at the level of less than 3 months as desired by the management.
• Participate in implementing and enhancing various modules - sales, quotation, purchasing, inventory control and warehousing of the ERP system.
