As a plant HR manager I am responsible for leading and monitoring HR functions including personnel, Training and development, succession planning, Industrial & employees relations, providing support to plant Management team, in addition to admin and Security.

HR Department Manager at Beni Suef Cement Company - Titan Group

As a plant HR manager I am managing and monitoring all HR functions including setting the department objectives and budget, in addition to admin, Security, Corporate Social responsibility and external relations as follows:

1- Compensation and Benefits:
• Preparation of the Job offers for new hired employees with the co-op of the HQ comp & Ben department Manger taking into consideration the company’s Hay pay structure and internal equity.
• Participating in negotiating and administering the healthcare program.
• Partial contribution in preparing and monitoring the annual benefits budget.
• Communicating the monthly overtime analytical reports for both Titan and contractors’ employees with the plant management team.
• Participating with the company’s top management in all negotiations with the company’s Syndicate concerning employees’ salaries and benefits.

2- Personnel and Payroll:
• Insure that the payroll monthly variables are prepared and submitted to the comp & Ben department on time.
• Liaise with the Labor and Social Insurance offices and solve any conflicts.
• Review the monthly HR analytical reports.
• Provide advice and support to the plant management and staff concerning any labor or social insurance issues.
• Liaise with the HO comp & Ben staff for any inquiries, reports and support.
• Supervise and Monitor the monthly payroll of the contractors and solving any conflicts related to the contractors’ employees that may affect the plant operations and/or safety.


3- Recruitment
• Preparation of the annual recruitment plan, and monitor its’ implementation on quarterly basis.
• Managing the recruitment Cycle, including the selection of the recruitment method, interviewing candidates and monitoring the onboarding and orientation process.
• Insure that Equal employment opportunities are met as per the co. policy and code of conduct.
• Conduct exit interviews

4- Performance Management:
• Monitor the objectives setting process, and provide support to plant management team and employees in setting a smart objectives.
• Monitor the performance appraisal process within the plant and insure its’ conformity with the co. policy.
• Provide support and advice to the plant management team in handling their staff performance appraisal.
• Participation in the annual PDR ( People Development Review ) ( Succession Planning).

5- Training and development:
• Leading the TNA process.
• Monitoring the execution of the annual training plan and insure it is within the approved budget.
• Evaluating the new training providers.


6- Employee’s Relation:
• Handling employees’ complaints and grievances.
• Liaise with the Plant Syndicate to insure smooth handling of employees’ inquiries and demands.
• Supervise the plant sports committee and insure proper sports activities provided including the participation in the Egyptian Companies League.


7- Admin:
• Prepare and control the plant General Service budget (Approx. 12 million EGP).
• Supervise and Monitor the execution of any plant Admin projects.
• Supervise and control all admin purchasing and insure it’s within the approved budget.
• Monitor all admin activities within the plant including transportation, meals and Admin buildings’ maintenance to insure proper service provided with lowest possible cost.

8- CSR and external relations:
• Communicating with the Governorate’s local community (NGOs, Governor, etc..) to insure good level of stake holders’ engagement and to provide the support to the local community.
• Search new ideas that may support the development of the local community.

Group Compensation and Benefits- Talent Acquisition Manager at Talaat Moustafa Group
