o Sourcing potential local suppliers to supply TV and
Washing machine components.
o Negotiate prices with suppliers based on total unit cost-pricing model.
o Calculate material, processing and overhead costs at the supplier factory to determine LG fair share of
the supplier's cost.
o Preparing procurement localization plan to achieve cost reduction targeted amount.
o Co-ordinate with R&D and QA to implement revisions and improvements on sourced parts.
o Monitor in-house supplier's performance and capacity to maintain JUST-IN-TIME strategy.
o Auditing suppliers to evaluate (Technology, Quality, Responsiveness, Delivery, Cost, Management
and Environment) and generate recommendations to improve their performance.
o Make sure that LG equipment and tools given to suppliers are maintained and kept properly.
o Prepare long-term and short-term material plans to maintain proper stock level and capacity
requirements.
o Develop and maintain report to assess procurement department performance.

o Representing Samsung Electronics Egypt in all the export activities in with the shipping lines.
o Managing all courier personnel to meet proper and on-time documentation cycle.
o Interfere in the disputes and claims that arises between Samsung and the shipping lines.
o Maintain export trucking plan to utilize the use of dedicated truck capacity to offload containers and
withdraw containers and avoid market rate trucks as possible.
o Maintain local deliveries trucking plan to achieve on-time delivery KPI.
o Assist in container yard activities to maintain containers stock level.
o Maintain container tracking report in order to monitor the physical movement of the containers.
o Participate in Master production scheduling by providing due dates that compiles with production
capacity and vessels cut-off,
o Coordinate with Production control and LSPs to meet vessels cut-off & on-time delivery dates.
