Responsible for recognizing areas for improvement within the organization and Advise key stakeholders on identifying and implement necessary changes to enable a business to perform to its optimum ability by reviewing new and existing processes, resources and systems, making and overseeing any changes to the company infrastructure where necessary. Playing a vital role in the decision making process regarding technology and automation.
- Advise and support, Directors and Heads of Service in undertaking Business Transformation projects and advise on appropriate business & technology solutions.
-Develop key work streams of the business improvement & transformation programme in close liaison with service departments and other stakeholders to ensure service improvement and efficiency savings.
-Ensure that all business improvement & transformation projects are delivered in accordance with the corporate approach to project management.
-Responsible for influencing the creation, implementation and supporting development of standardized and repeatable best practice business processes to reduce risk, lower costs and enable continuous improvement and operational excellence.
-Supports enterprise-wide projects that incorporate a proactive and innovative solution to addressing business challenges and achieving organizational goals and objectives.
-Develop Support & buy-in for the enterprise-wide projects that incorporate a proactive and innovative technology solutions to addressing business challenges and achieving organizational goals and objectives.
-Establish performance monitoring metrics (KPIs) for the directorate to measure directorate’s objectives, business processes and bench marked to best practice standards.
-Lead, plan, coordinate, and supervise all activities related to the design, development, and implementation of different organizational information systems and software applications.
-Responsible for maintaining, supporting, and upgrading existing business systems and applications.
-Manage and deliver on all migration plans from non-Oracle based applications to Oracle based applications.
-Participate in the development of the roadmap of Business Solutions to include Oracle future projects.
-Recruit, lead and develop the team of software professionals, provide ongoing coaching and mentoring to maximize their performance.
-Manage difference IT vendors to ensure that services meet business needs.
-Accountable for developing strong leaders and a diverse team through multiple approaches to attract and retain talent.
-Develops planning for future workforce needs and participates in the selection of employees.
-Evaluate resource levels and take needed actions.
-Support, encourage and facilitate collaboration and communication between teams.
-Execute employee management processes (including staffing decisions, coaching, development plans, and performance evaluations).
-Coach employees in career/performance development.
-Developing a new IT strategy & technology roadmap incorporation with external consulting firm.
-Prepare Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) manuals.
