- administration for Symantec Norton antivirus corporate edition 10.0 server
- Install Norton antivirus client in all systems
- support for Network devises (Cisco 2960G, 3com switches 4250T, 5500G - patch panel - cable )
- Troubleshooting and maintaining Windows systems
- Troubleshooting and maintaining hardware PC's and printers
- Installing any Software what user's need for his work
- Send report every month to ministry for all work are doing in the month
NAMA had a project with ministry of culture & Information (MOCI) for desktop deployment for 1400 PCs (6 months)
I was one of the team who handled this project
The tasks we did in that project were as follows
- joining 1400 PCs to the MOCI new domain
- Change the local administrator password
- Activate 1400 user accounts
- update the operating system for 1400 PCs
- Install & Configure Symantec Antivirus client on the 1400 PCs
- Installing Software (outlook express, live communicator, office 2003) on 1400 PCs
- Change the computer name for 1400 PCs with new name reflects the location of the PCs
- put label on the 1400 PCs & Monitors
- Update the user’s information database
My responsibilities in NAMA are as follows:
- Troubleshooting and maintaining Network
- Troubleshooting and maintaining Windows systems
- Doing the preventive maintenance for our customers
- Backup and Restoring data for customers
- Handel all customer inquiries, needs and give them the solution
- Install and configure DSL Modems
- Troubleshoot cabling & wireless network problems
