BASIC FUNCTIONS:
Under limited supervision, develops, plans, coordinates and manages hospital safety programs, including the management and implementation of those programs to ensure the safety of the hospital’s physical environment for employees patient’s and visitors, and to ensure compliance with applicable hospital policies and local regulations.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
1. Maintaining Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) on hazardous materials used in the workplace.
2. Doing routine safety inspections.
3. Keeping Safety required records on accidents and maintenance.
4. Monitoring of employee exposure to hazards.
5. Employee Safety Training/Hazard Communication (“Haz Comm”).
6. Maintaining and purchasing personal protective equipment.
7. Helping to solve workplace safety problems.
8. Maintaining Safety contingency plans (fires, spills, etc.)
9. Oversees the supervision of assigned personnel, which includes hiring work allocation, training, and problem resolution; evaluates performance and makes recommendations for personnel actions; motivates employees to achieve peak productivity and performance.
10. Coordinates the division annual budget and assists in the development of capital expenditure budgets related to environmental, health and safety programs; develops and justifies budget requests.
11. Develops or assists with the development and implementation of policies and procedures consistent with those of the organization to ensure efficient and safe operation of the unit.
12. Establishes and implements short-and long-range goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures; monitors and evaluates program/project effectiveness; effects changes required for improvement.
13. Ensures contractor code compliance by managing the interaction between departmental personnel and contractors, facility planning and physical plant personnel.

Basic Function:
My basic function was to be involved with the planning, coordination and control of manufacturing processes. Also to ensure that goods and services are produced efficiently and that the correct amount is produced at the right cost and level of quality.
Principal Duties:
* Overseeing the production process, drawing up a production schedule;
* Ensuring that the production is cost effective;
* Making sure that products are produced on time and are of good quality;
* Working out the human and material resources needed;
* Drafting a timescale for the job;
* Estimating costs and setting the quality standards;
* Monitoring the production processes and adjusting schedules as needed;
* Being responsible for the selection and maintenance of equipment;
* Monitoring product standards and implementing quality-control programs;
* Liaising among different departments, e.g. suppliers, managers;
* Working with managers to implement the company's policies and goals;
* Ensuring that health and safety guidelines are followed;
* Supervising and motivating a team of workers;
* Reviewing worker performance;
* Identifying training needs.

BASIC FUNCTIONS:
Performs a variety of professional level duties involved in the development, organization, implementation, and coordination of a variety of safety and risk management programs including worker’s compensation, security, training, safety/ environmental management, and emergency management programs.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES:

• Oversees and participates in the day-to-day operations of programs designed to reduce risk and ensure work safety and factory security.
• Performs a variety of professional level duties involved in the development, organization, implementation, and coordination of a variety of safety and risk management, and emergency management programs.
• Oversees and participates in the management and implementation of the Factory Safety Program;
• Reviews, develops, and updates safety related policies and procedures as required by law or as necessary
• Develops and provides training of various safety topics to employees
• Inspects Industry buildings, equipment, and records for compliance with safety standards;
• Prepares reports to executive management regarding program emphasis, recent accomplishments, and areas of concern.
• Provides recommendations for changes as required.
• Responds to the scene of accidents/injuries; conducts thorough investigation and analysis of conditions and circumstances related to the accident/injury; develop findings and recommends
