Developed by Red Sea Global, The Red Sea Project (TRSP) comprises of a number of ultra-high end resorts located within Al Wajh lagoon on the east coast of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
As part of RSG’s Infrastructure team I am developing the pre-concept Infrastructure Provision Strategies, and their integration with the Master Planning vision, for several onshore and island developments.
The projects, range in size from a single hotel island developments to a large multi asset master planned developments with areas exceeding 1, 000Ha.
I am also responsible for the development of the relevant concept and detailed designs tender documents, and management of the appointed consultants.
Other responsibilities include management of design Consultants during project’s delivery phases.

On behalf of Systra - Surbana Jurong JV. leading the effort of delivering the Transport Infrastructure related designs for the ‘NEOM Industrial City’ development (now the #OXAGON).
As part of the Sitewide Infrastructure Engineering Design services team, led the planning, organization and execution of the Roads and Transportation related design services under the agreement.
During the Joint Venture setup I structured, recruited, and established the operations of the KSA highways design team and its operation, process, and quality processes.
As a member of the Project Leadership Team, I was involved in the overall design group setup, Design and Program Coordination, Commercial Management and Reporting, Subcontractors Engagement and Management, etc.

Starting within the Mott MacDonald Bulgaria’s bridge engineering team in 2001, My career progressed from a bridge engineer involved in a various local designs and a large number of UK Highways Agency Bridge assessment schemes, followed by a move to the MM Bridges division in Croydon, UK where I was primary involved in projects under Network Rail assessment, rehabilitation and bridge strengthening schemes. Other clients from this period include HWA, BAA, and a number of internal clients. In march 2006 was seconded to TFL in a role of Resident Engineer for the installation of the supporting infrastructure for the West Extension of the City of London Congestion Charging Scheme.
In July 2006 I moved to Dubai as part of the MM Engineering and Site Supervision Advisory Services" commision during the construction of the "Palm Jumeirah Monorail' project. Valued at 1.4bn AED this 4.5 km system comprised of three stations on the palm Island with the 4th station and the operations deport located within the shell of the 'Gateway Towers' development on the mainland.
the responsibilities on the project comprised of reviewing the contractor's design, construction, construction management, QA and HSE submissions and providing recommendations to the client’s (Nakheel) project management team. In addition lead a small team of site engineers providing spot checks on the progress, quality, safety, methodology and management of the construction activities during the construction.
After completion of the monorail project at the end of 2008, joined MM's transportation team in Dubai in the role of Senior Structural engineer. Projects I have been involved since include MASDAR City, New Doha International Airport, Al Raha Boulevard Bridges, Mafraq to Gufeifat Highway, Sohar Free Zone, as well as a large number of Tenders, PQs and others.
