Import Logistics:
*Act as a subject matter expert and perform all logistics activities such as account management, database maintenance, replenishment, inventory forecasting, shortage resolution, distribution planning, and delivery execution.
*Coordinate closely Supply teams and Forwarders to ensure timely availability of Stocks.
*Effective communication and methods to provide visibility of Stock In transit to all stakeholders within supply chain.
*Monitoring lead times for availability to sell.
*Procuring, sourcing raw materials for drop shipments customers' (50% of the volume) in addition to placing and shipping SO / PO.
Warehouse and Stock Management:
*Developing framework and processes with 3PL for effective and optimized management of Stocks Ensuring stock accuracy and high order fulfilment rate within Ecolab quality standards.
*Responsible for Communication and conducting stock counts
*Managing E&O process (Expired & obsolete stocks)
Distribution Logistics Management :
*delivery in full on time (DIFOT) through assigned transporters
*Analyses and engages with carriers and internal stakeholders to improve DIFOT
*Management of distribution through effective route planning to ensure customers deliveries are fulfilled at the requested time and at the optimized cost
*Ensuring adherence to quality & safety during the distribution Process.
*Manage Return Logistics with effective processes including communication quality and stock update of return stocks.
KPI Management and Reporting:
*Periodic Management and Reporting of KPIs to management including shipments arrivals & delivery Delivery Rate%, On-Time%, Stock Accuracy%, Various Cost/Turnover Ratios, MOQ management, Stock Quality Reporting
Safety:
*Acting as MENA safety champion (responsible for regional monthly safety trainings, reporting, RCA & all related communication)
Operational:
*Managing key accounts at supply points in terms of timely demand shipping
*Managing 3PLs performance in terms of customs clearance and delivery
*Interviewing & assigning new 3PLs

• Leading customer service and trading logistics team as to efficiently execute the export - import tasks as well
• Evaluating individual & team performance by providing guidance and coaching in their main areas of developments
• Management of Inbound & outbound operations as a whole (for Egypt & Libya) including International freight for ELN, Cheese and Dairy business
• Responsible for finalizing various budgeting activities & maintaining P&L for the department (including people & commercial), negotiations and contracts finalizations with various contractual parties such as transporters, carriers, insurance companies, clearance agencies, etc


• Reporting production & shipping plans for Libyan ELN distributors
• Manages logistical operations for ELN SKUs (for Egypt & Libya), which includes shipping, warehousing, distribution, transportation, 3PLs performance, and stock monitoring
• Supervises and follow up the delivery of goods to the branches, customers, and distributers locally & abroad
• Manage weekly & monthly inventory statements of stock on hand and outstanding orders and reporting them to board of directors & stakeholders
• Managing performance of foreign 3PLs and ensure compliance to targeted performance & agreed rates
• Reporting P&L & COGS to finance teams based on weekly & monthly reports
• Following with marketing & activity management teams launch of new products to ensure on time production, shipping & stocks availability
• Following through a team of subordinates the performance of customs clearance of dairy products
• Performs HR activities of the department, which includes:
o Sets up (KPI’s) for each position & performance review
o Assessing & appraising subordinates (3)
o Sets up the department learning need analysis

• Handle the customs clearance processes relevant to all imported & exported raw & pack materials, industrial spare parts, Danfarm needs, CAPEX machines & equipment.
• Follow up on the shipments delivery & reporting arrivals to concerned departments.
• Ensure on time delivery of all shipments.
• Reporting the clearance shipments lead time & cost (KPI’s) to planning, supply & demand teams
• Material plan coordination between Danone warehouses & production.
• Manage cash & customs releases payments with finance team.
• Manage clearance documentation cycle to ensure smooth clearance process.
• Ensure internal material deliveries coordination between different departments.
• Maintain material quality during clearance process.
• Improve and minimize time consumed in the process of clearing shipments
• Leading & supervising performance of 3PLs.
• Ensuring compliance of 3PLs to company's policies in terms of safety & correct customs regulations.
• Approving 3PLs invoices and ensuring timely payments

• Exporting and importing purchase and service orders for operational purpose through cross borders and overseas.
• Negotiation of transport modes rates with local & international freight forwarders.
• Quoting and approving from freight forwarders, 3PLs and service providers. (Shipping rates, securing, chartering, crating, lashing, trucking, etc...).
• Coordinating with overseas suppliers consolidation & shipping plans
• Receive and revise arrival notifications for import shipments from international freight forwarders.
• Monitoring & supervising performance of freight forwarders, 3PLs & service providers.
• Arranging shipping documents through company's dedicated software for import & export shipments (RFMP & Oracle)
• Preparing annual analysis and forecast.
• Notifying consignee with shipping schedules of export shipments and follow-up until confirming arrival of goods.
• Assigning and interviewing new freight forwarders and service providers.
• Supervising & assuring timely payments to freight forwarders.
• Supervising a team of 6 personnel in the logistics team & reporting to logistics manager.
• Supervising and monitoring performance for the company's other remote locations as a direct supervisor (Gabon, Libya & Saudi Arabia)

An account executive - the Centre De Fret et de transport international (SDV - Egypt) responsible for:


*Transporting clients` matters (import and export).
*Supervise follow up with suppliers for documents (supplier invoice, performa invoice, B/L) and provide the same to the clearing department for goods clearance.
*Arranging booking for the requested mode.
*Ensure proper follow up for transportation, customs clearance and loading departments.
*Handling all operational duties starting from receiving a note from the client up to closing the subject commercially.

A cargo agent - the handling department of LCAG - the international export center - Cairo international airport responsible for:
*Cargo handling of Lufthansa flights, applying shifts for the early morning flight and the late dawn one, in addition to other serviced airlines (Qatar airlines, Ittihad airlines, SAS airlines, Hapag Flight and Aeroflot airlines).
*Applying shifts for the warehouse supervision, including receiving and acceptance of goods (including handling of dangerous goods).
*Applying supervisory shifts at the airport ramp.
*Applying supervisory shifts for the airport perishable terminal.
*Been qualified for accepting and handling general cargo as well as handling dangerous goods from LCAG main hub at Frankfurt.
