As the National Recruitment Lead at SPCA, a nonprofit organization dedicated to animal welfare, I am passionate about working with animals and supporting our mission to promote their well-being. My love for animals drives my commitment to ensuring that SPCA recruits the best talent to further our cause.

Responsibilities and Achievements

 Successfully led the recruitment processforan average of 25 roles per month across North and South Islands, optimising advertising strategies through to contract generation, and ensuring seamless onboarding. Consistently updated and enhanced company job descriptions to align with evolving business needs.

 Managed HR queries and requests for 800 employees, effectively addressing issues or redirecting to appropriate functions. Provided critical support to managers on workplace relations issues, ensuring informed and positive resolutions.

 Served as the primary contact for all technical and user enquiries related to the internal recruitment system (QJumpers) and the new HRIS system (Elmo). Maintained strong relationships with third-party partners, ensuring adherence to SLAs and high service standards for internal operations.
 Conducted comprehensive training for hiring managers on interviewing and candidate selection best practices, with a strong focus on promoting diversity and inclusion and ensuring alignment with company core values.

 Played a key role in developing the HRIS system to meet internal company requirements, collaborating closely with technical consultants to ensure precise implementation of niche specifications. As a core team member, responsible for continuously updating and maintaining HR information system data.

 Facilitated seamless integration of all new hires by leading the onboarding process. Partnered with hiring managers to ensure accurate completion of induction procedures and necessarypaperwork.
