DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
•Make sure that before beginning any job there is necessary work permit.
•Potential hazards on site before work starts and on the safety organization and fire precautions required.
•Ways to prevent injury to personnel, damage to plant and/or equipment and fires.
•Assist with training employees at all levels.
•Attend job progress meetings where safety is an item on the agenda. Report on job safety performance.
•Inspect the work site daily to report and correct unsafe methods and conditions.
•Keep a permanent record of all injuries, fires, motor vehicle accidents (MVAs), property damage and crane/heavy equipment accidents which have occurred at the site.
•Keep a record of every weekly safety meeting on site complete with subject discussed and a list of attendees.
•Always bear in mind all safety guidelines and procedure.
•Conduct safety toolbox meeting.
•Insure contractors follow Safety Health and Environment Requirement.
•Daily inspection of crane, scaffolding and follow the 100% tie up policy.
•To ensure the correct loading and unloading procedures.
•Identity safety hazards and recommended corrective action.
•Before leaving the job site, make sure that all unfinished job such as open pit, overhead and other must have safety precaution of signboard and safety tape, machineries to avoid accident.
•Safety audit on site, instruction and training the company and contractor staff.
•Make daily reports and submit to immediate supervisor.
•Accident incident Investigation and Reporting.
•Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly inspection and Monitoring all activities and facilities.
•Coordinate Fire Drill, Drivers Training and Safety related meetings.
•Monitor all workers if they are proper safety outfit and always keep in touch with all workers to remind safety.
•Preparation and conducting training for all company and contractors staff.
•Fire prevention of all company activities, testing of smoke and heat detectors, conducting drills.
•Reminding all workers that the safety in the best policy and to target zero accident.
•Make monthly Inspection of moving equipment’s and fire extinguisher, ladder etc.
•Put necessary safety precaution before starting any job.
•Inspection and Elevation of staff, dining areas & providing guidelines on health hygiene & Sanitation.
•Keep good relation ship with client and subcontractor
