• Oversee the installation, alignment, and erection of mechanical equipment such as HRSGs,
Valves, boilers, pumps, compressors, heat exchangers, cooling towers, and balance of plant
(BOP) equipment.
• Manage piping activities including fabrication, fit-up, welding, testing, and erection of systems
according to ASME standards and project specifications.
• Review and interpret P&IDs, isometric drawings, general arrangement (GA) drawings, and
vendor documents to ensure accurate and efficient execution on site.
• Track daily progress, prepare shift reports, and update construction milestones to ensure
work is on schedule.
• Ensure timely availability and proper handling of tools, equipment, and materials such as
pipes, valves, structural supports, and mechanical components.

• Oversee day-to-day mechanical Fabrication, Assembly, Installation and inspection activities of HRSG and boiler systems.
• Supervise a team of technicians and contractors to ensure timely and quality work execution.
• Supervise the installation, alignment, and commissioning of HRSG and boiler equipment, ensuring compliance with engineering drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate with QA/QC teams to ensure mechanical works comply with ITPs, WPS, and project quality standards; support inspections and NDT activities.
• Enforce site HSE standards, conduct toolbox talks, and ensure all activities are conducted under approved permits (hot work, confined space, etc.).

• Oversee the erection, alignment, and installation of boilers, steam turbines, condensers, flue gas treatment systems, and auxiliary mechanical systems.
• Supervise the fabrication, fit-up, welding, and installation of piping systems for steam, water, air, fuel, and condensate services, following ASME B31.1/B31.3 standards.
• Supervise the installation of waste bunkers, refuse cranes, shredders, feeders, and mechanical conveyors for the waste feeding system.
• Review and interpret P&IDs, isometrics, GA drawings, vendor drawings, and installation manuals for mechanical and process systems.
• Maintain daily work logs, progress reports, inspection checklists, and support in documentation for mechanical completion and handover.

• Oversee daily maintenance tasks for critical mechanical equipment such as Boilers, HRSGs,
pumps, compressors, valves, and heat exchangers as per DEWAs operational standards.
• Supervise dismantling, inspection, servicing, and reassembly of rotating (turbines, pumps,
fans, blowers, Valves) and static equipment (boilers, pressure vessels, tanks).
• Manage teams of technicians and coordinate with subcontractors to ensure timely and quality
execution of mechanical tasks.
• Enforce strict adherence to HSE standards, ensure valid PTW (hot work, confined space,
working at height), and conduct toolbox talks daily.
• Prepare daily work reports, equipment maintenance logs, punch list reports, and
documentation for handover to operations.

• Perform routine and corrective maintenance on mechanical systems and equipment including
heat exchangers, pumps, valves, hydraulic actuators, gearboxes, and thermal oil systems.
• Inspect and maintain parabolic trough structures, receivers, tracker mechanisms, and
hydraulic systems used for solar field alignment and operation.
• Diagnose mechanical failures, leaks, and malfunctions in pumps, piping, motors, and rotating
equipment; perform necessary repairs and replacements.
• Conduct inspections and minor repairs on steam drums, deaerators, boiler feedwater pumps,
and related BOP (Balance of Plant) equipment.
• Carry out regular mechanical inspections, vibration checks, and lubrication of bearings and
rotating machinery as per schedules.

• Conduct regular field inspections of HRSGs, ACC & BOP for mechanical, electrical, and
instrumentation systems to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on pumps, motors, valves,
compressors, heat exchangers, and piping systems.
• Assist in the safe and efficient start-up, shutdown, and load adjustments of gas and steam
turbines under the direction of the control room operator or shift supervisor.
• Inspect and assist in the maintenance of high-pressure and low-pressure steam systems,
including condensers, feedwater systems, and superheaters.
• Perform lubrication tasks and ensure clean, safe, and hazard-free work areas in all
mechanical zones.

• Oversee preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance of all mechanical systems
including boilers, ESP, pumps, fans, heat exchangers, and ash handling systems.
• Supervise inspections, tube replacements, soot blower servicing, air preheater maintenance,
and leak detection in high-pressure boiler systems.
• Supervise the operation and servicing of cooling towers, condenser water systems, vertical
turbine pumps, and associated piping.
• Allocate work to technicians and fitters, supervise subcontractors, and ensure high
productivity and safety on site.
• Interpret P&IDs, equipment layout drawings, maintenance manuals, and OEM guidelines to
ensure accurate maintenance execution.
• Ensure all work is performed under valid work permits (hot work, confined space, height work,
etc.)
