Analyze current inventories and procedures and make suggestions for improvements to improve sourcing efficiency and profitability for the company.
Manage Project cost estimates in the bidding stage.
Negotiate value improvements and manage optimal supplier contracts.
Monitor all orders received and notify managers of production requirements to ensure that all production, dispatch, and delivery dates and targets are met.
Maintain the required quantity of supplies and materials to optimize production.
Develop and maintain detailed inventories of materials and supplies located in the company, at sites, and in the factory.
Oversee the use of the warehouse to ensure the maximum use of available space and a safe, efficient, and profitable operation that meets customer and business needs.
Fulfill PO process in line with GESAT sourcing standard &production schedule: Request for Quotation, issue PO & get confirmation
Ensure operational alignment with Production & Planning KPIs w.r.t material OTD and Quality.
Monitor the performance of suppliers, assessing their ability to meet quality and delivery requirements; identify and qualify new suppliers in collaboration with other departments.
Act as the main contact of GESAT for Direct Material suppliers regarding commercial issues such as invoicing and payments, to ensure proper and on-time solutions.
Review the project compliance which is usually based on end-user requirements and countries.
Maintain current knowledge of external factors that could affect the availability of goods and pricing; examples include applicable import regulations, taxes, tariffs, and economic situations in the countries of origin.
Keep detailed records, generate reports, and develop presentations to help management understand the sourcing perspective.

Purchase goods, materials, components, or services in line with specified cost, quality, and delivery targets.
Negotiate the purchase of materials and equipment required by the company, ensuring that these meet specifications and can be delivered at the correct time at the most reconfigurable.
Monitor purchase orders to ensure that these are modified to meet changes in requirements.
Maintain up-to-date lists of contractors and pricing arrangements to ensure that the company achieves the most favourable commercial terms.
Monitor the performance of suppliers and products to ensure that they meet the required standards.
Maintain an awareness of quantities of stocks of materials and equipment to ensure that shortages are avoided.
Monitor the purchasing arrangements of different departments and functions to ensure that they are taking advantage of the most favourable terms.
Report any significant supply problems to ensure that departments and functions are kept aware of any potential difficulties.

Manages supply chain product flows from procurement through distribution, to support customer requirements. Schedules procurement, manufacturing, and distribution for a specified group of products typically high volume/high value products. Analyzes material flow parameters such as order quantity, lot size, make cycle frequency, replenishment interval, and sets these levels to support the business/customer requirements. Determines raw material, semi-finished and finished goods inventory buffer quantities and actively manages these to optimize business investment. Monitors and reports capacity requirements, special order and stock service levels.
