Jordan Education Initiative (JEI)
JEI: the aim of supporting Jordan's efforts in improving the level of education, encouraging creativity, developing capabilities and building knowledge economy by using the latest technological tools in one hundred governmental schools that was later named "Discovery Schools"
Tasks and Responsibilities: • Provide technical support in hala bent Khwailed School.
o Installing and configuring computer hardware operating systems and applications.
o Provide technical assistance to use all the hardware and software.
o Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks.
o Maintain daily performance of computer
o Replacing parts as required.
o Respond to queries either in person or over the phone.
o Write reports to determine malfunctions that continue to occur.
• Staff development and teacher training
o Enhance the creativity of the teachers and students using technology by Preparation of educational sessions using smart board.)
o Enhance the creativity of the teachers using skills (E-learning, lesson planning, instructional design)
o Periodic studies to find out the needs of the school for the development of the educational process.
o Activities school in technology: ( build website in wix.com, build electronic magazine in publisher book, create profile in social media and create blogger)
