• Executing the progress throughout the job and comparing this with the schedule of work liaising with the client and other team members throughout the project, making adjustments to tasks as necessary providing advice and support on the development of specific systems.
• Proficiency in Engineering & other related software’s.
• Take a lead role in quality system implementation and follow-up for Contractor side as per Client’s QA/QC procedures.
• Responsible for all the quality forms through-out the client’s job execution.
• Follow up of project quality plan for effective implementation.
• Decision maker in which jobs in the scope should have a technical quality check after execution.
• Develop standard or specific technical quality checklists for all jobs to be executed in the turnaround.
• Participate in the contractor’s General and specific Task Risk Assessment(s).
• Participate in both reviews made in this time phase.
• Follow up of quality plan and report daily status to Client Core Team and QA/QC in-charge during execution of contractor.
• Closely follow up of the critical activities in terms of quality.
• Control all technical checklists after the jobs have been completed.
• Participation in the morning shutdown meetings with respective operations departments to highlight any quality related issue.
• Set up meetings with sub-contractor quality responsible persons to ensure effective implementation of client’s approved quality plans/procedures.
• Give input to close-out report for quality related issues.
• Participate in close out review in this time phase.
• Logging of all quality standard and specific quality checklists for future turnarounds and handing over to client.
• Responsible to pursued the baseline schedule, instructing techniques, sequence, sharing ideas and execute the works at site by ensuring quality, legal aspects, cost effectiveness and timely completion of projects.
• Reviewing of method of statements for the activities, material submittals. RFI’s, issuing of necessary site instructions & initiating necessary waivers.
• Having vast experience of Construction from feasibility study, project reports, project planning and preparing the scope of work, reviewing and evaluation of bid documents, evaluating the Pre-Qualification of Contractors, tendering, estimation and quantity surveying.
• Quality Control management, reviewing of ITP’s and attending the inspections for hold and witness points.
• Representing the project for all quality matters.
• Involve in developing and maintaining the project quality plan
• Verifying implementation and adherence with QA/QC.
• Quality procedures and /or work instruction.
• Prepare of new procedures and /or work instructions.
• Perform Inspection with Consultant and or Client according to approved ITP and approved drawings.
• Reporting Items of nonconformance to the Quality Manager.
• Reporting on the corrective action / resolution of nonconformance items.
• Verifying program implementation by conduction project specific audits,
• Liaison with customer to coordinate and assist in customer audits, Surveillance, inspections and approvals.
• Establishing, maintaining and overseeing the document control and record -keeping function.
• Quality Monthly report preparation.
• Evaluation of suppliers/sub-contractor's Quality System.
• Coordination and supervision of activities related to the collation of the Project record books.
• Preparation and submission of two week look ahead schedule "as per schedule 'Q' requirements.
• Organize inspection and test plan for procurement, construction and commissioning phases as required by schedule 'Q'
• Procurement and project inspection, witnessing and monitoring in accordance with the approved inspection and test plan.
• Responsible for the QA/QC requirements, in particular, for preparation, implementation, controlled circulation and maintaining of the ‘Quality Control Plan’ and Project Management Plan, and to obtain comments on, and approval of Contractor Work Procedure for Site Activities.
• Organize necessary internal and external Quality meetings and regular meetings with Sub-Contractor/s as appropriate.
• Monitor all quality related activities on the project.
• Attend client quality management meetings.
• Involved in Quality control activities, Preparing, maintaining and implementing the QA/QC ITP (Inspection test plans). Closely monitoring & providing the Engineering resolution for surveillance and Non-conformances.
• Success in architectural & urban planning and utilities - road highways, water supplies, sewerage and storm water drainage plans.
• Adept in detailed architectural drawings - house elevations, plans, section along with furniture details.
• Expert in coordination with structural disciplines for development and production of architectural and civil drawings.
• Quality Control management, reviewing of ITP’s and attending the inspections for hold and witness points.
