Member of the steering committee to assess/implement Business Intelligence Solution.
Assisted in gathering source/background details for establishing the new DWH.
Supervised the data mining phase for the new DWH database.
Participated in designing the new DWH database (Teradata).
From Jan 2009, I was the Reporting Team leader in the Partner & Business Intelligence (BI) section, which is responsible for the design, analysis and development of any new reporting requirements. My responsibilities were managing BI projects in terms of planning, organizing, monitoring and managing the resources to achieve goals/KPI set by Marketing and higher management; i.e.:
-Attending Committees responsible for evaluating software solutions offered by external vendors, mainly related to Business Intelligence domain and management reporting.
-Verifying and analyzing the vendor’s implementation models and mapping.
-Understanding the business requirements and designing reports to meet client needs.
-Developing reports using COGNOS BI Report studio and Query Studio.
-Developing the framework model depending on the business relations using COGNOS Framework Manager.
-Developing, Testing and Post Production Maintenance of the Reports.
-Supporting the business users.
-Performing daily activities and routine health check of our application and reporting
-BI solution definition and technical specification documentation
-Reports’ solution testing and User Defined Functionality Testing (UAT)

Assessed and audited existing applications, provided solutions, developed applications from scratch, and finally provided the documentation. Examples are; Mobile Roaming System, International Traffic Settlement and Revenue Sharing application.
Participated in developing fault/complaints escalation algorithm for work flow management.
Developed and implemented a mail notification module to lotus notes and to online printers for work flow management.
Designed online and offline Revenue Sharing applications fulfilling Etisalat and its partners needs in terms of traffic processing, analysis, tracking payment and reporting.
