Due to the downturn in the general economic situation in Jordan due to several factors, including the Covid-19 virus and its bad effects on the contracting sector, and the lack of construction projects currently available in Jordan, I had to look forward for any suitable available job(s) in the local market as a freelancer until I can find a suitable job characterized by sustainability and stability in the near future, these few works including the following aspects for local Jordanian
- Residential Buildings and Apartment’s design.
- Residential existing buildings renovations.
- University students On-Site Supervision training.
- Preparing Architectural Shop Drawings and Details for several types of buildings.
- Implementation of building’s Fit-Out finishes few items, such as Cement Plaster, Stone cladding, sidewalk paving, CMU, … etc.
Responsibilities and Achievements :
- Managing and monitoring the progress and performance for both our team and subcontractor’s teams.
- Assigning tasks to staff and subcontractors & clearly explaining how those duties are to be done.
- Follow the subcontractor's method of statements reports and logistic planning at site before and within installation.
- Follow the variation orders submitted by the subcontractors and its details based on site status.
- Maintains safe, Quality and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Make the necessarily submitted site inspections based on Specs, Contract and regulations.
- Make the daily, weekly and monthly progress meeting with contractor and our staff to control the progress, time, cost and quality.
- Follow all types of contractor submittals, such as materials, documents, drawings, RFIs, MIRs, Mockups …etc.
- Make the necessarily training for contractor and our team how to make method statement for execution of construction items on site, and principals of site supervision.
- Review the project contract documents and conclude the conflicts and missing’s with coordination with other disciplines.
- Etc.
Responsibilities and Achivements:
- Review architectural documents due to conflicts with other disciplines and solve it with continuous coordination.
- Completing the design work, including missing or updated finishing schedules, construction drawings and details for the project
- Preparing, presenting daily and weekly progress reports for site progress, Client visits.
- Coordinating the work of subcontractors at site with all disciplines and Technical office to avoid and solve any conflict.
- Follow-up, delivery and installation of materials at site on daily bases.
- Reviewing the contract and planning schedule and push the contractors to follow their scope of work and deadlines.
- Arrange for weekly site progress meeting to discuss with subcontractors, Project Manager and Client all obstructions, site issues, installation progress, Etc.
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Site inspections (Fit-Out Finishes) with high end quality.
- Technical office submittals ( Contractor ) Follow-up, Drawings, Documents, RFIs, Memos, Variations, equipment’s, materials, progress reports, …
- Attend weekly coordination and progress meetings at site and main technical office.
- Etc.
Responsibilities and Achievements:
- Providing all required logistic support for subcontractors.
- Follow the installation and submittals of bench marks for different types of installed materials.
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by enforcing Technical And Management Experience
- Manage the installation for large scale projects (Mixed Used) Fit-out Finishes’ with luxury ends for both external ( Facade ) and internal finishes including hardscape elements installation for all aspects with coordination with all parties at site.
- Prepare detailed architectural drawings for residential and commercial construction projects.
- Attend meetings with Consultant & Owner Project Manager, Business or sector Construction.
- As Built Drawings, Preparing, Modifications and Documentations.
- Prepare necessarily information’s regarding buildings design, specifications, materials and equipment’s.
- Maintained strict quality control procedures at site.
- Check the daily progress and ensure that the work is running on time according to planning schedule and budget.
- Follow the 3rd parties and Consultant Reports Rectifications.
- Applying the main contractor scope of work items through sprocedures, rules, and regulations.
- Create the teams, develop the objectives/goals of each and assign individual responsibilities
- Etc.
Responsibilities and Achievements:
- Preparing designs of luxury buildings, villas and homes for special clients.
- Creating working drawings, BOQs, Diagrams and schedules.
- Studies building codes and regulations and determines how they will affect architectural designs.
- Make necessarily coordination with other disciplines.
- Analyzing buildings sites.
- Create architectural drawings based on building specifications, calculations and sketches.
- Visit construction sites to collect measurements and dimensions as needed.
- Site inspections.
- Coordinate with Contractor regarding to site progress.
- Following up submitted time schedules and site progress.
- Monitor and supervise the project execution process on site to ensure completion of the job within specified time frames.
- Review changes, modifications and variation orders for approvals.
- Attend meetings with Contractor & Owner representative, Business or sector Construction.
- Coordination with engineering dept. for shop drawings and technical support to fill the Site requirements.
- Etc.
Responsibilities and Achievements:
- Uses computer drafting (CAD) software to create full-scaled and detailed designs and drawings of Residential Buildings, Villas (Plans, Elevations, Sections, Isometrics, Perspectives, Sectional isometrics, Etc.) and interiors from an architect’s drawings and sketches.
- Create comprehensive shop drawings and details for several types of buildings.
- Make necessarily coordination’s with other disciplines to avoid conflicts.
- Etc.
Responsibilities and Achievements :
- Meeting with architects, designers, and engineers to discuss design ideas for local governmental projects.
- Visits jobsites to gather data needed to complete designs.
- Developing designs from scratch and renovation.
- Completing job reports and schedules.
- Collaborating with architects and construction engineers to ensure adherence to building specifications and industry regulations.
- Coordination with MEP engineers.
- Creating comprehensive CAD shop drawings and details for several types of buildings.
- Hardscape design, detailing.
- Etc.
Responsibilities and Achievements :
- Creating technical drawings from architects' sketches and client’s notes.
- Design and Draws plans, Elevations, Sections, Etc. For buildings based on instructions provided by senior architects and clients.
- Prepare complete set of architectural and working drawings and details for several type and scale of buildings.
- Make enlargement details for kitchens, stairs, toilets with luxury quality and details’.
- Make necessarily coordination with other disciplines to complete the job.
- Technical reports and finishes schedules preparations.
- Make technical researches for Islamic architecture style and elements.
- Etc.
I have comprehensive training within my academic study in the following aspects: - Professional (buildings drafting systems), techniques and tools. - Buildings workings ( Shop ) drawings - Using Computer Software's in Graphics ( AutoCAD ) - Construction details. - Isometrics and perspectives - Models Making using manual tools and machines - Quantity Survey - Buildings construction materials. - Buildings construction methodologies. - Buildings construction tools and equipment's ( Light & Heavy ) - Site Supervision
