Over the past 9 years, I have practiced nursing care at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Labib Medical Center (LMC). The work at this unit involved taking care of highly critically-ill patients, in need for hemodynamic, ventilator and general support. nursing care extended to care of intubated patients, care of tracheotomy, chest tube, central lines, Foley catheters and drainage tubes.
•Head to Toe nursing assessment is a vital part of the whole nursing care plan.
•Providing complete education for patient and family upon (admission, during and at discharge)
•Basic and Advanced Cardiac life support measures are provided for each patient with life threatening conditions, according to AHA (American Heart Association) guidelines
