I performed following duties for the above mentioned projects.
- I was responsible for raising any technical short-comings in the project design using the following process.
- I used to send RFI (Request of information) through Aconex (a system which is used for all sort of official correspondence and documents transmittal) explaining any technical issues raised on site and suggesting the possible solutions so that Melbourne Airport could get technical approval from BECA. After this process of approval for changing in the design the details of all these required changes were sent to Hydel so that they might change the design accordingly. Weekly site meetings were a forum for discussion and approval of any technical RFIs.
- I developed Inspection and Testing Plans for the projects according to project specifications and monitored the quality of our own and sub-contractor work.
- I Prepared Quality control documents, Safe Work Method Statements and OHS documentation for the projects according to project specifications, current Commonwealth and State legislations and Code of practices (including Work Safe)
- I Supervised the Occupational Health and Safety, Environment and quality issues during the construction work
