Based in Dubai, responsible for internal audit of various business within group in UAE and Oman. The Kanoo group UAE is one of the biggest conglomerate in Gulf region widely present in Shipping, Travel, Trading of commercial machinery and equipment, Insurance, Logistics and Speciality Chemicals and Business centres and other retail and commercial activities.
Internal contriol assesment and updation.
Job responsibilities as an auditor includes:
To support Assurance and risk team in execution, finalisation of all
internal audit related assignments of company's operations such as:
1. Learn / understand and apply audit standards and methodologies
issued by Institute of Chartered Accountants of India / The Institute of Internal Auditors
2. Understand various business, related processes, risks and controls.
3. Execution of audit assignments.
4. Draft audit observations / draft report, Quantify impact, identify
root cause and recommendations for enhancement of performance across the organization.
5. Follow up of the audit reports for compliance
6. Identify control weakness and escalate to seniors wherever required.
7. Develop understanding of the operations of the company and
participate in implementation of the changes in co-ordination with the functional in charge.
8. Develop skill sets require to deal with ambiguity.
9. Maintenance of Audit documentation

A highly motivated and enthusiastic ACCA affiliate and Accounting graduate with a strong academic track record, supplemented by Internal and external audit and finance intern and work experience.Demonstrates a flexible approach and strong delivery focus, demonstrated through exceptional commitment to audit completions and overhauling finance systems and reporting.Experience and academics are further enhanced by strong interpersonal, communication and team working skills.
3 years of degree in economics,accounts and management subjects.
